The more I look at it the highest quality players at the guard position are Conley, Beal, and Batum.

Kobe probably comes cheap if he plays.

Bazemore or Lin even cheaper.

Agree with the thoughts we really need a star guard. Conley is a FA, but not sure I want to give him the max at 29-34 years old.

We have some shooters, a pair of dynamic forwards and some nice blue collar bigs. What we need now is a 25 year old Steve Nash. Funny, I know Rubio was mentioned during the offseason, dude is having a breakout year and is one of the best guards in the league right now

You start KP at the 5 or Durant at the 2. Fit won't really matter when you have versatile players like this, they will fit just fine together. Mixed on beal. First, he is not an option and he won't be available. 2nd, not much of a ball mover. He is much more efficient this year compared to the last few years but not sure if he will sustain it. Also does not shoot that many FT's. We need guys who can get to the line. I hate Derozen but the dude can get to the line!

Well i think a guard would be the best way to go with what we have now so here are some interesting names that are UFA's after this year.

I'll give you the no way on Rondo but both Jennings and Gordon could both be good if put in the right situations. Another good thing is that we finally have a full team of tradeable players which we haven't had in a long time so we have the pieces to make a good trade and i think Phil will be looking hard at trades around the deadline.

call me crazy but I don't want durant.

I like Durant, and I would've loved to have him on the team last year or the year before. But right now I don't think we need him anymore. We have to see how the rest of the season shakes out and see where our most glaring deficiencies are.
