Hahn talking about trying to get the dad and the kid on his show.

Would be fun.

DiPietro feels they already got their 15 minutes of fame...does not want to give them any more attention.

In a sense we are cyberbullying to some extent. The father was booing like hundreds were that nite. The boy by any measure should be left alone regardless of if he has any emotional difficulties or not.

THe guy who video taped it caught what many others was doing and should not be broadcasting the boy.

SAS on the otherhand is in the public domain and took an extreme position. They Boy appears to be caught up in the moment of the mob and nothing more. The video should be taken down.

Would be funny if Hahn set up at surprise meeting with the kid and Porzingis (no Dad) and have KP give him a uniform. Would give the kid a chance to end his moment of fame on a happier note, and would be good publicity for the Knicks.

Or someone could replace Appollo Creed's face with the kid's on that Rocky III .gif.

I buy nothing for that kid. If anything, him and his cornball dad should give me their tickets to the next draft.

I put that level of self absorption squarely on his father. I feel sorry for the kid because he doesn't know any better.

Lol true. But they still should give me their tickets hahaaa.

Hahn should be talking about how he should try and get Hahn and DiPietro on his show. Oh wait....

Probably true.

At this moment, if I'm objective, I would give it to Towns.

We still don't know how things will look by the end of the year, though, and Porzingis has been slower to get into his stride this year than Towns.

Also have to add that I love KP...his story and his personality, but Towns is a character who also would have captured the NY media.

I've seen a number of T-Wolves games, and he's been pretty special so far, and like KP, he's a great kid who seems to get it. Had a great dad, too, who really helped him develop.

My philosophy is to enjoy KP up close, and admire Towns from afar.

Happy with what we got though, and might not trade him for any other rookie at this point.

Also don't feel that the attention he's getting will hurt him. He has enough grounding- family, Fisher, and Phil, to keep him real. I think Anthony, Sasha, and even Lopez, will keep him on an even keel.

That's one of the things that I really like about this team. We don't have any personality problem types on the roster. I don't see any of these guys embarrassing the coach or the organization in any way, other than perhaps the occasional mind-cramp blunder on the court. And I don't see any of these guys having any serious negative qualities to their personalities that might corrupt the locker room or the younger dudes.

So Fisher winning those last few games aren't as damaging as 89% of this board thought.

We missed out on Towns, but not only did we gain KP.....It gave Fisher the confidence to tweak the Triangle to fit the players.

I wasn't around this Forum at the end of last season, and I wasn't around during the Draft either, but I'd always said that if the Knicks end up with at least one of the top 5 picks we should be able to do alright with whoever was still available. We just happened to get a guy who looks like he's much further along in his progress than most people thought. All of that panic about winning those few games at the end of the season was the source of endless laughter from me. I'm still laughing about it today, but now it's for more obvious reasons. Don't worry, I won't hurt my arm as I pat myself on the back. I'm used to it hahaaaa.

On the contrary. The more this young kid is out there, the better. He is a gem off the court. Do not limit him at all. He handles off court stuff wonderfully. He is able to make people like him.

But was it really just luck? I mean it did really look like the top 5 - 8 projected picks were going to be solid players. The big variable was how long it would take for each player to develop. And the so-called experts have been wrong about that so far too. And Curry is just a freak anyway. How often does a Curry come along? That was just bad luck. Because I don't remember anyone, at that time, projecting him to be what he is now.
