it's a fair question with an easy answer - not as long as Phil Jackson is here, and as long as the tradition and culture he is trying to build remain in place.

Porzingis is similar to melo. They both increase revenue sales for dolan. Soon Porzingis will make melo expendable. Hes an international money maker for dolan. He will be a knick for ever, unless theres a championship trade in the making tjat involves Lebron James.

But this is a typical NY fan thread. When we are bad....we wish we were good. Now that we are good....we think about being bad again.

This thread is a proven fact that we dont care about winning or losing....we just loke drama. It doesnt feel right to have the best player in the draft.....want to be a knick forever.....and actually producing 15 games in. Somebody pinch me so i can wake up!

A majority of the players you mentioned did not perform "extremely well" on other teams. All of them are role players, other than prime-randolph and DLee. We did not unknowingly trade any future stars.

Frazier -- traded to Cleveland
Jackson -- traded to the Nets, ends up coaching Bulls and Lakers...not the Knicks
Ewing -- traded to Sonics, ends up coaching Hornets...not the Knicks

Sorry, but we let go of even guys who are our legends.
We let go of any great one. Believe it, Porzingis will be gone by All-Star break.
