Ha! I'm just hoping that this is not an indication that the fast pace we started the season with isn't about to slow down drastically. Between the consecutive 0 fast break points and Fisher tightening the leash on DWill, I'm starting to get a bad feeling that things are going to slow down quite a bit. That would not be good. But I could just be panicking. I'm probably just panicking, right? By Friday, Calderon will be coming off the bench, ANYONE will replace him as starting PG, and things will start getting hot. Yeah, I'm just panicking.

Fisher can't suddenly make our players become better than they are.

Our backcourt is a serious problem to be consistent.

This loss was much better than the one's last year. It's like no one remembers who we were last year already. We need to improve, duh, but it's not going to happen overnight with the roster we have.

On top of that you have Jose el matador and Sasha instead of Afflalo and there you go.

Dude we scored 32 points in the 1st qtr, 14 in the next the rhythm was gone, when the rotation became inny minnie minny moe

They're going to be using a deep rotation this year and we have some guys who are struggling early in the season. This isn't a time tested team where all roles are clear. They will try some things out early in the season. Expect some experimentation early in the season.

It's definitely cool to try new things, but not all in one game.

Deep is a ten man rotation = 2 wins

11/12 man rotation is chaos = 3 losses

HAWKS, SPURS and CAVS is a pretty tough set of losses early in the season with a new team and other issues for this Knicks team. To put the losses on the rotation is to really lose sight of what's going on. Knicks would have to play near perfect against those teams on most nights. Let's keep that in perspective too.

Caves were prime for this loss, AND WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK.

Spurs game ZERO FAST BREAK POINTS.

Oh yeah, the wiz beat the spurs last night and had 24 fast break points.

Lets face it, were not picking up the pace, and it's not just calderone, it's anybody who brings the ball up. Worse yet the little tid bits we here from fisher is all about playing defense, but even off of turnovers were walking the ball up, and were avg 8 steals pg

Not enough easy baskets last night.

Calderon is hurting the team on Defense and if his shot is not falling then he really is a net negative for the team. I like Grant but maybe he is not ready for big minutes yet. NY needs to search for another G to fill out the roster.

I am willing to let Calderon play with AA for a few games before making the move but the rope is getting shorter every game.

The offense was rolling in the first quarter. Then the ball movement stopped. I saw Melo doing some ISO work again and when that happens the team is stagnant. NO offensive rebounds and no easy hoops. The few times, I was able recognize what they were running, the spacing was off.

KOQ and Seraphin are nice players too turn to.

KP picked up 2 cheap fouls that he did not have to. He must be playing 25-30mpg, not 20. When he is off the court, the team lacks that second option.

Poor night for Gallo.

Listening to Windhorst on Mike and Mike talking about the Knicks. About Porzingis, said that he hasnt been this excited about a foreign big man in at least 10 years, says his mistakes are 19 year old mistakes, said he didnt expect him to play well so fast. Mike Greenberg chimed in about how great he and Grant look. Windhorst said the Knicks more likely would rather go with Grant than trade Melo for Rose.

Also said that Melo has bought in and the Knicks said they have never seen him this sold on the roster, that he got his money, and he's locked in on winning. Said he isnt interested in a trade.

Also said the Knicks have one of the toughest schedules he's ever seen going into january. He said if the Knicks are down in the rankings that they can still make a run for the playoffs.

My takeaway is that the backup guards need the frontcourt and vise versa. The last two games the second unit has looked terrible by themselves. I think some of that is Fisher trying to give Serephin minutes when the others have build up a reporr with Williams.

Also, Lebron was horrible or most of the game besides the 4 gummies the guards have him, his 3pter, and the backdoor slam late. The real key was Dellavedova took over the 3rd late. Him and Thompson changed the game. When your star player is sucking you need a player that can create for others. Calderon can not do that. Galloway and Grant needs to move to the top two pgs when Afflalo comes back. Even if Afflalo needs a few more games I would go with Gallo and Sasha then Grant back up Gallo and bring in Thomas plus Early. Early plays the 2 on O but Thomas defends he two or better offensive player. This won't happen because according to Fisher, Calderon was solid last ight.

Is this actually a thing? Are there actually talks about this? If so, they better not do it. You know what would happen as soon as Rose got here and put on a Knicks uniform, right? Do I even have to say it?

They were talking about possible Melo Knicks/Bulls trade scenarios, assuming Porzingis becomes the man. Butler's name was thrown out but they said it would be more likely that the Bulls would try to unload Rose, thats when Windhorst said that the Knicks would more likely go with Grant.

Well I would certainly hope that they would rather go with Grant. I want nothing to do with Rose. Nothing against the guy, but he's too much of a risk.
