Agreed with Grant or Gallo until Affalo comes back. They need to stagger the substitutions with that starting lineup, but that needs to happen sooner than later. The defense from their current start backcourt is unacceptable.

So the way I look at it now is .. one of grant or Galloway should start cause we need one of them to man that second unit ... We can not allow Jose to ruin the confidence of our second unit like he is doing to the first unit.

Start Melo with our only true pg in grant. I love Gallo but grant can really create for the offense

That's still a solid second unit that can run the floor. I just see KP as the future starting center
I like Lopez but he could energize that second unit ! Seeing Lopez guard Hartford was hard to watch.. KP on the other hand can give a guy like Hartford or any quicker centers fits. If we are worried about dwill manning the 4 ether switch with O'quinn or put Melo at the 4

I see your point, but I think Gallo might work as our starting PG as well, mostly because he has a better jump shot. I don't think he's AS fast as Grant, but he can still break down some D. And then you slide him up to the 2 when Grant comes in.

I like that idea too.. Also with Gallo and AA opposing guards wouldn't be able to get to the paint at will... I just would really like to see what grant can do with Melo,KP, and even Lopez

We'll probably see it some day. At the very least we'll more than likely see it next year. But first we have to see how things shake out over the next 3 or so games. You never really know what's actually going to happen until it actually happens.

Honestly...at this point I would prefer to see Trice starting over Calderon, considering how Jose has played so far.
