You're slicker than they are, you saw right through it. Well done. It will be interesting to see how THJ responds to playing his old team.

I don't think he's even in the rotation for them right now. But I wouldn't be surprised if they play him minutes against the Knicks for motivational reasons.

Yeah, the NBA sat for hours and hours to come up with a game that would gin up the ratings for opening day...and they came up with Knicks v Bucks.

Last year Knicks and the big buzz new era of Phil vs. LeBron's homecoming in Cleveland was definitely a grab for TV ratings. But I have to inform you that I really don't think Knicks v Bucks was.

maybe they dont think that people really want to watch the knicks (yet)

That's probably more likely. But then if that was the case, why would they have the Knicks' home opener on TNT? They were probably hoping that the Bucks would beat the Knicks so Chuck and Shat would have some funny quips about them already starting the season as failures or whatever. Kind of like how they all looked so dumb last year after the Cavs LeBron homecoming game. Remember that? How dumb they looked? Hahaha. Too bad the rest of the year sucked though.

so you want the giants to be prime timers but not the knicks?

What? I clearly said I don't like any of my teams playing national prime time games. I said I curse when I see how many prime time games the Giants get every season.

What the hell is wrong with this place? I see I am surrounded here by people who haven't even acquired the simple skill of reading. Instead of looking at Knicks box scores, folks, why not pick up a book and develop the skill of reading. Start with "See Dick, Jane, And Spot Run."

Lol I understood what you meant. But I have to disagree about the Knicks and Christmas. I'm glad they're not playing on Christmas this year. But I do agree about avoiding nationwide exposure. Even if they were really good I'd want to avoid that. Know why? You don't get the endless replays of the games on MSG for 24 hours. I have to actually use my DVR.

Yeah, that's kind of interesting. I'm not so convinced about the Game 3 one though. I mean, were the Wizards really upset about the Knicks snatching Seraphin? Were they really going to try and sell it as 'Seraphin gets revenge on his former team?' kind of thing? Doesn't quite seem dramatic enough. But yeah, regardless, that is kinda interesting.

I was really hoping THJ was going to play tonight. Scoring on him would've been so damn easy.

He is useless, a 1/2 dimensional player. Phil's biggest coup in the offseason has to be dumping him in exchange for an actual good PG in Grant. Bravo!

Knew that he had not suited up, but had not heard why.

Are you speculating on this or have there actually been reports hinting at his problems with an offense being used by a coach who had worked with Pops?

I did read that he is having a lot of trouble with the offense.

Yeah, I read it yesterday but can't remember where. Probably from one of the links on the UK front page.

I can find flimsy associations like this for almost every team the Knicks play. The Heat are on the schedule Melo wanted Justin Winslow,76ers knicks wanted Okafor, the Nets Lopez vs Lopez, the Magic Kyle Oquinn trade
If they were trying to do what you say, wouldn't playing the Trailblazers make some sense.
