The culture to build continuous group of coach's with a philosophy of ball movement and defense from the D-league thru the parent team COULD yield a team where players come here knowing their role and paid accordingly.

This is what SAS does and succeeds to keep its core three happy to be there and play below market value because of the level of professionalism and consistency. Players come and go but a core group, with a core system yields good things. Coach's will be hired away and players will also come and go.

We are very early in the process. Pop in SAS has the cred to do it. Phil has the cred as well. Larry Brown had it but clashed with Isiah. It was a stupid move. Isiah diluted his vision (if there was one) and Brown was not allowed to do his thing. Both failed.

No guarantee's phil will succeed either but I get the blueprint. If some of you don't see It read his books. Enjoy the process and each game. Lets hope this is the beginning of something good. An 8th seed would be a huge success for this team!

Statistically per minute 24 and 7 is ridiculous so no he won't keep it up unless you believe he will be a top 5 player in terms of PER in the NBA

We have grinders for the first time in a long time with Quinn, Galloway, Sasha. You know Thomas and Lopez will bring energy and play hard every night and if we can get scoring from dwill, affalo, melo we are going to be right there in a lot of games.

Early enough to be euphoric about the fact that tanking wont be an issue this season. Euphoric that we have rooks that are already showing they can play. Whatever happens this season, I just want this team to leave everything on the floor. If they can do that more FAs will want to play here next season, and the Knicks will get even better.

Not getting euphoric yet unless we're collecting wins like they're foodstamps Christmas Day and beyond.

Game 1 people!

Considering the minutes, statistically he was there

Rubio: 28 points (on only 17 shots) and 14 assists
Paul George: 17/12/8

so here is what phil is thinking ....

KO's leadership when he is on the floor and his ability to play like a true New Yorker (in your grill trash talker),as well as, his hard fouls/diving on the floor for loose balls mentality, will incite guys like Melo to play hard every night.

When Aflalo returns, he will be the cog of the first unit

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

You keep missing the whole minutes thing. These guys at least played a whole quarter more
