Been pretty good in terms of quality, and I like being able to jump ahead if I'm looking at an on demand game.

Thanks for mentioning it in one of your posts.

I have had decent luck with the free sites, but this is consistent in terms of quality, and being able to see stored games is nice. Those others sites sometimes had glitches and quality issues- this does not.

If you pick up a roku or other streaming device you can watch it on your tv. My msg service was really funky. I live 7 miles outside of rochester but I have Buffalo/Batavia cable and the Sabres blackout about every fourth game the Knicks play. It was pretty frustrating because I have friends two miles away that get msg2 and always get the Knicks games. I was calling twc about once a week to try and correct it and always ended up looking for a streaming broadcast.

Don't think that this is a priority for Phil at this point, IMO. I think the guys we have on the team at this time should be able to cover the position this year.

Agreed. I think Grant's very much in the mix playing some 2 off the ball. Might actually benefit him at times by being able to concentrate more on being in attack mode.

I hope you're right about having the position covered this year. I just feel the frontcourt is deeper than the backcourt. If one of our primary guards ever went down, I feel like we'll be scrambling a little bit. I also wish Galloway brought a little more PG skills to the table which would improve overall backcourt versatility. I do like what he does bring though. He's definitely growing on me.

of course our front court is deeper. Our front court is pretty solid while our backcourt is one of the weakest in the league.

People are putting too much on Grant out of the gate. He looks good but he may have a long way to go in becoming a consistent shooter. Jose looks awful. Sasha is feisty but thats about it. Galloway has really surprised me the way he has come out of the gate but I am not sure if he can be consistent enough offensively.

I think that we are being picked where we are because of how bad we are at guard.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Galloway is a stealth player for this team. With all our new players, and a less than stellar SL, I recall a lot of guys being critical of him and forgetting that he had played all of about 40 or so games as a pro, yet had still made second team all-rookie.

I think he will be a solid, but unspectacular player, and more of a 2 than a 1.

Looks like he got stronger, and his D has looked fine.

I'm looking for more offensive consistency from him and continued toughness on D. Playing with Grant will make his life easier.

I think Phil and Fisher both like him, so expect to see him get some good playing time. Just hope he is not overused like he was last year.

The Knicks are ready for war with our guards. We have Calderón, Affalo, Galloway, Grant and Sasha.... that's a solid group. Everyone can shoot and everyone has some ability to facilitate and score. Sasha and Calderón are our weak link defenders but they are all strong team defenders. So the Knicks are going to be fine. I just can't wait till we can put up Wins to prove it.

This is New York and Phil has played with Clyde Frazier and Monroe and coached Michael and Kobe. Phil isn't interested in Afflalo, or Jenkins or Galloway or 3rd string SG from Portland. Phil will claw and connive to get what this team needs at SG. It won't cost Zinger, though Grant, Galloway, Calderon, Melo among others, are all up for grabs. It's an era of shooting guards and Phil is on the lookout for the "Damien Lillard" of our team. Mudiay was suspect as he couldn't shoot. Early can back up Melo but doesn't have a handle and isn't a prime time year in year out stud all star that Phil (and the league) covets. With Harden, Westbrook, Lillard, Curry driving the NBA bus these days, we need someone to brighten up Broadway and have a stud in New York. Need to lower that cap.

both are scrubs though. lol

Knowledge of the triangle is a very important asset to have on the bench and the court other then the coaches. Sasha does not have to be great when he is on the floor. We all know he can shoot the ball; thus, he will not be as useless as you all think.

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Just my humble opinion-

(1) John Jenkins can play. Jenkins > Vujacic. Not even close in my eyes. Moot point I suppose--he's making that Dallas team.

(2) "Knowledge of the triangle" is overrated. No one on this team has any real working knowledge of the triangle anyway, save for Sasha V & the few holdovers from last year, 2 being scrub-level players (Amundson, L. Thomas) and our key guys have all performed just fine. It's not even a 100% triangle system anyway, which I'm glad to see btw. It looks to be a hybrid system that looks to take advantage of individual players' strengths first and foremost: ISO opportunities for Melo, some guard penetration, transition play with Grant and the quicker players, post-ups for the bigs (even with Afflalo who's a good post-up option once he gets back to being 100%), a little pick & roll/pick & pop, etc.. I love it. Why bog things down with predictability?

(3) "Vujacic doesn't have to be great" -- I guess that's technically true, but he does have to perform, no? Bottom line--he needs to hit shots. If he's not connecting on jumpers he's useless. We'll see if he can find it. If he remains ineffective, I'm gonna want to see them go out and find a reasonable upgrade.

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

One guy I've liked for awhile that could help our backcourt depth -- Seth Curry. He's no Steph but he's underrated. No one believes this dude can play, yet anywhere he's been and gotten PT, he kills it. Duke, DL, SL...He's been used sporadically during the preseason but he was great in SL...Nothing left for this guy to prove. He'd be an able contributor at the NBA level imo...Interested to see if he makes the Kings. I think he might--Karl likes him. If they wind up waiving him though, I'd immediately waive Lance Thomas and add Seth Curry. They won't do it but how I'd like to see this handled--if a good player springs loose from another team, TA should still make this team as the 15th man. That needs to remain unaffected. Thomas is the guy to waive if we like some surprise player that becomes available enough to sign. Waiving Thomas and adding our own Travis Trice is something else that should be considered.

Just saw the Spurs waived Jimmer Fredette. Meh.. Never really a big fan. Dreadful last year for New Orleans but to be fair, he was decent for the Kings. I wonder if they look to bring him back now and cut Seth Curry... I personally think Seth Curry's the better player. Travis Trice might be better.

i mean the folks you mentioned arent exactly franchise players here but i agree that lance thomas is horrible and seth curry is better. therefore, coach karl will most likely keep him. "The Jimmer" can shoot but cant do much else. Trice simply isnt NBA material

Vujacic isnt a good player and even worse is the fact that he hasnt received that memo yet. however phil likes him for teaching the triangle and supposedly he has formed this bond with KP. (which i agree is overrated - but the fact that the media is writing how great of a zen teacher Vujacic is tells me that phil wants him to stay)

Right now, it's not about making a splash, adding a big name---hopefully that'll take place next summer, maybe at the trade deadline. In the meantime, it's about shoring up some weaknesses with what's available to us..Don't sleep on Trice, man. I was excited when I heard we inked him up for training camp. He can play. I though he looked VERY GOOD against Charlotte. Hopefully we see a little more of him tomorrow night in Boston.
