Barnes has the talent to be worth that kind of money, but he hasn't produced like someone who is worth that kind of money.

This economy is providing great excesses for those at the top. Perhaps they should pay their fare share of taxes so the rest of us don't have to be as burdened. We shoulder more than our fair share of the cost of government, when comparing how it affects our take home pay with someone making 10 million a year. They should pay their fair share across the board, athletes, executives, Hedge Fund managers, etc... Then these salaries would not look so exorbitant when compared to the rest of us.

Feds printed a lot of money and world produced a lot of goods...
Much more money and much more goods that anyone needs.
So now the money should go to someone to buy this useless goods.
Players are perfect kind of people for this. Any celebs in general.
They buy things not to use them but to support their celeb status.
So I am supporting any outrages incomes as this will reduce a little bit the consequences of the biggest crisis of overproduction in the history of capitalism which is coming quite soon and actually already unraveling.
So hale to celebs outrageous incomes!!!

Cav's said not so fast...

The Cleveland Cavaliers and restricted free agent Tristan Thompson failed to come to a contract agreement prior to the team's media day on Monday

The Cavs did not accept Thompson's most recent offer of a three-year maximum contract that his side put on the table last week.

I think they can also negotiate a later date.

It's a serious problem.

These guys are solid role players getting max dollars. It's impossible to compete in free agency with the pending television contracts. Thompson and Barnes are good lockeroom 4th options, it's going to be virtually impossible for the Knicks to build a team with these salries.
