People really trying to re-write JR's history here? Max Deal? GTFOH.
Guy was coked out of his mind the eve of a playoff game partying with Rihanna at like 4 in the morning!

That team had a lot of graybeards to keep him in line during the season...at least on the court.
Guy is an idiot and underachiever, but that season gave you an idea of what he could have been- took the pressure of the playoffs to show his true nature, but you can't take overlook his contribution to the team that year. Guy has no discipline or sense of responsibility, and you just can't depend on him as you move up the playoff ladder- history shows that, for the most part, as the games get bigger, he gets smaller. Anyone defending JR Smith after his "illustrious" history as a Hornet, Nugget, Knick, Cavalier is just being a certified turd burglar. He's everything that is wrong with the league.
