Guessing the WARP projections didn't take kindly to Mudiay and Okafor, because both's percentages and deficiencies from the free throw line extended.
Gotta be able to hit free throws and open jumpers to make an impact in the NBA.
I think those guys will make it.
They'll all definitely make it, Lottery picks all have guaranteed contracts.
Derrick Williams is still in the league! Same with Anthony Bennett.
Just a matter of how well they make it. If KP happens to be the 5th impactful rookie in this draft class....HALLELUJAH!
Been a long time coming for Knicks fans to have something to be optimistic and hopeful about. Not since Ewing and Mark Jackson had we rookies that could be Rookie of the Year and then become potential All Stars soon after.
Not saying KP needs to win Rookie of the Year, but just show enough signs, that he can trend up to franchise talent in a matter of years.
Something we haven't had on the Knicks in what seems like decades. A few decent rookie seasons here and there like Landry Fields season, THJR in the Rookie/Soph game, that year with DLee, Channing, and Nate. Not one of those rooks could be mentioned in the same breath as potential franchise cornerstones though.
Can't wait until preseason.
