nice... you can see the progression of Knick fan logic in this.

1) I bet we... (make negative assumption with no info)
2) Offer insightful tip on what should have happened (with no info) and where we failed
3) repeat step 1
4) repeat step 2
5) start assigning blame based on feelings + fabricated reality

Looking at Dallas roster he can get playing time. On the NY roster we have a few more guys that might be tough for him to leapfrog for playing time. Can this be as simple as a young player looking the best situation for playing time?

NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

It sounds like they want a vet who can cover the center position. I wonder if they talk Brand into it?

I would've liked NDour, even as an undersized 5. Oh well.

I think Fish's PT argument could've had something to do with it. Also, Dallas did offer him more money - possibly more money than the Knicks could even offer. What can you do?

So Begley says Dallas offered MORE money indicating the Knicks did make an offer.

Isola says Knicks looking for a more experienced big.

I wonder who's info is better?

I'm glad he got an offer. Wish it was with us. All we had was league minimum offers. I've read that they are holding the room exception to pick someone up opportunistically (a waived player, for example).

Fucking sucks...WTF did they offer him? Gimme the Goddamn number...If it was more than the 2.8mm room exception, we gotta live with it, nothing we could've done. If it was less than that, F Phil, yet another mistake imo.

Silver lining -- there's room for Thanasis now. I like him too. Looked at a ton of video before. Get TA in here now. Very similar to Ndour anyway.

Sorry to miss out on N'Dour. Would have been a nice pickup. On the other hand, Thanasis is nowhere near the player that N'Dour is. No shot, low BB IQ, over zealous on defense. The Knicks should let him go to Europe. Maybe a few years there might add seasoning to his game.

Wow, if only someone didn't get $1.6m instead of a vet min deal that would have paid him $1.5m. Oh phil. Smh

Can't believe this was about guaranteed money and not OVERALL money. I hope you all caught that.
Another Knick debacle and I have the feeling that by waiting we are going to end up with much less than we could have.

Goodbye Shved and NDour. Bummer

Pissed about this, that guy could shoot well in college, extremely well and had size.

time to look for a new GM maybe? I mean another debacle... A 23 year old undrafted player did well in the summer league and losing him to team offering more money and probably a much better shot at playing time and its a debacle?

time for a fire-Phil rally outside the garden maybe? Just tryin to gauge the debable level here...

or PG. What is unfair to the Knicks is they did ask him to be a veteran PG or C, and he chose not too. I mean they asked.. its fair

He looked good, but realistically, this kid was never going to get any burn. We had O'Quinn, D. Williams, KP, and Lopez in front of him, and Melo probably will also play some PF. Even Early was probably going to play more than this guy. He was a long-term prospect who would have been nice to have, but it is not the end of the world.

Ndour never really had a shot at coming here. We already signed both lance Thomas and amundson. No chance unless he was a center and Phil already stated he wanted an experienced big man. Who would you guys rather have lance thomas or nd our? It is obviously lance Thomas. He has zero upside, a scrappy jumpshot and no offensive talent BUTTTTT he knows the triangle and can share his NBA experience of being a journeyman to all our other younger and talented kids Who might actually make something of themselves.

Do you remember when we "saved" money by not resigning fan favorite Lin and we spent that and more on the Geriatric bunch? LOL
Yeah, debacle is a good word when you have been a Knicks fan. And you know we can go on.

You don't let someone go just over guaranteed money. That is the quote, right? We made an offer but the difference was guaranteed money.
So, it wasn't that we weren't interested, it was just the guaranteed money. We are talking a small contract, unless that quote from the beat writer was false.

Over react much???? I mean come on now. LOL

That is why Lance Thomas and Lou Amundson signings MAKE NO SENSE, we wasted 3m in salary cap space and 2 roster spots, knowing that we were going in the THE SUMMER LEAGUE to audition the players on the roster

What is Lance Thomas and Lou Amundson's trade value? What is their potential? Both of 15th man roster's, while we found a GEM that is worth developing only to lose him...

The guy is 200pds but doesn't look like it at all, what if he gets stronger and gets his weight up significantly??
