Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will host the awards show live from Pauley Pavilion at UCLA where Stephen Curry, Serena Williams and LeBron James are among the night’s nominees. Executive producer and Nickelodeon veteran Jay Schmalholz talked to The Hollywood Reporter about what’s in store for this year’s awards, and revealed the new stage setup. I never thought the trade was good but I have also never blamed Melo for that as he's not a GM, owner or anything but a player (more basketball).fishmike wrote:CrushAlot wrote:Not sure why this thread exists. Executive producer and Nickelodeon veteran Jay Schmalholz talked to The Hollywood Reporter about what’s in store for this year’s awards, and revealed the new stage setup. Among the things to watch for during the event: So the "Melo era" started with a terrible trade and the new franchise player quitting on the coach. Not impressed. What was impressive was the minute MDA was fired Melo won player of the month and carried the Knicks. I was impressed by that. A fan? No... but had to admit the guy was playing incredible ball. That was followed by the 54 win season which further impressed me as a player. 3rd in MVP voting, several guys around him had career years in Copeland, Novak and JR briefly quieting the equally retarded Melo doesnt make guys better notion. All good players make other players better. MElo is a good player. At this point I view Melo as a good player. Great? Maybe... but not by my standards. He's a scorer and he can impress his will on the game. He's well liked around the league (a non-Kobe). He's not a vocal leader but he plays hard. He's a good guy. Ive watched him first hand around the young players and even his own kid. He does very good charity work. Again.. I dont love Melo, but I fail to see what makes him so utterly repulsive to the handful of vocal folks around here. I really have no problem with him at this point. I also find him easy to root for knowing there are people dying to write stories on his feelings and start threads on his t-shirts. Im rooting for him to prove these special folks wrong. That in a nutshell is my stance on Melo. Fair enough? He got paid. He got traded for Gallo. Oh the travesty of pro-sports!!! He gets voted to all star games. Before this year and last he's never had a losing season in he NBA. Knicks went to the playoffs once in 9 years (38 win Lenny team) before MElo. He comes and we go three straight times. Also while it pains DK/TFK that Denver and Gallo havent won titles the Nuggs are no better off without him. Denver pre Melo: 8 straight seasons no playoffs. What the retards dont get is this is not a Melo endorsement. This is simply stating what is. Ive said all this 100000 times. If you or anyone else want to wank yourselves silly over this guy's feelings or percieved agendas over a tweet about nothing or letters on his tshirt enjoy. I dont see the point. But then I dont see the point in the Kardashians either and 50 million people follow them around with ferver. Maybe Im missing something or Im the retard. But then Im not on a Kardashian fan message board crying about how Cloe is holding back the family and trashing her at every turn. I just have other interests "winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs
