Even before the 2 DUI's, the rap on Lawson was that he'd turn up to work, do what was required and then go home- that he didn't love ball, nor put in any extra effort. Eventually that catches up with a player after a few years, especially as their athleticism declines.

What I like about him is he can penetrate to the basket- something Calderon can't. However he's small, a terrible defender and a poor shooter. Very good passer and very good at getting to the basket. Often was called one of the most underrated PGs and was a big reason for Denvers success, post Melo.

What I don't like about him is the declining attitude and work ethic and possible alcohol issues. Once a players attitude starts to stink, it's hard to get it back. If we could move Calderon to the Bulls for Taj Gibson, I would consider signing him if waived, but I'm not sure I'd pull the trigger.

Calderon for Taj Gibson, where did that come from??

Bulls need a PG and they need more shooters. They are overloaded at PF/C (They have Gasol, Noah, Taj, Mirotic and now Portis- they have to move one of them). Not saying they WOULD trade for Calderon, I was merely being hopeful!

Taj must have been caught on the highway with a few naked trannys in his ride, a trunk load of cocaine, weed and ski masks used in a recent bank robbery...
