This. The Knicks will rue the day that they didn't bring Bargs back for the vet's minimum. His game was coming around during the latter part of last season. Let's see if their smart enough to sign Shved before the Russian does.

That may be a bit strong. I like Bargs but I don't know if they felt it made as much sense to bring him back with KP in the fold. I think they probably wanted to let KP do his thing without the duplication of a more seasoned vet who does a lot of what he does. Plus was it clear that Bargs would accept only the Minimum? This seems like a sudden change on his part. I thought Bargs was looking for a bigger contract than that.

too funny, people actually talking about his game coming around during the last part of garbage time season... maybe he'll teach the Triangle to the Nets, before becoming a coach.

You dip understand that there is more to basketball than points per game don't you? How many games was he injured again? Bargs had a low ball iq and an ability to drain team chemistry- as well as horrible help defense. He does nothing well enough to make up for his poor shooting, no rebounding and crap defense. Toronto got better with him gone, we got worse with him. Now he's gone hopefully we will improve! He makes his team worse: FACT!

Intelligent observation. Would agree about the injury history. Now please use the same criteria for Williams, Thomas, Admundson, and O' Quinn and get back to me. Point was $1.4M for a player that has been better than any of those.
