eh, even a broken clock is right twice a day
Yeah but that was a big one. I think some may have left this forum they were so upset.
Well I also think Lin played up to his contract in 2 of the last 3 years. So I don't think Dolan really saved us from anything terrible. It's not like they used Lin's potential salary on wiser signings. If anything, they were mostly worse signings.
Are you talking about the average salary or the 15 mil in his last year? Also, part of the reason why the deal worked for Houston and not NY was the luxury tax the Knicks would have to pay because of the contract.
Just saying, I would much rather have Lin than trading for AB and the 1st rounder and 2 2nd round picks
In addition to Kidd, Novak (could easily be replaced by any vet min shooter), Camby and Felton, all of which cost us draft picks to acquire and combined made much more than Lin, would vet min player could have replaced them
Camby never got a shot to play and eventually became out of shape and loss motivation, favoring Tyson Chandler despite Chandler throwing him under the bus with the rest of the team besides CA and JR Smith not being very happy with the system or lack of a system
Woodson played favoritism and it was obvious, instead of trying to get EVERYONE to cut the drama and play as a team
Lin wasn't matched because he wasn't a trading chip at that price and the way his contract was structured
