Its a fair spin on this offseason, and from the get go Phil was open about warning people there wouldnt be big fish, rather smaller roster building moves, so its not like he was pumping FA then whiffed.Lets see the Knicks without dysfunction. The east is not good. If the Knicks get 70 healthy games from Lopez, Melo, Calderon and Affalo they should make the playoffs, even if its as a #8 at 40-42
I agree, it's a great view on the offseason, and i think we have a chance to be pleasantly surprised with the results of this group.
its a low downside roster, and high upside. We continue to get younger and more talented. We have a really nice future core developing here, and not just scrap heap guys like Galloway who are nice stories. Grant has potential to be a top flight PG in the league, a Tony Parker type player. KP has franchise talent. Add in the other guys like Thanasis, Willy next year, Ledo, Early, hopefully Shved... There is a nice pool of talent being built up.
We're young, flexible, and we traded not one future first round pick! For anything!
And it's been days weeks months since the last "Dolan's effing our beloved franchise over" thread!
Life be good! Bring on the summer league!
well...we have no pick next year so that kinda sucks
We already selected our 1st rounder for next year....J.Grant....He's mostlikely as good if not better than anybody we would've selected next year.
i agree getting grant was a huge bonus. However next year i still want a first rounder. Getting good young talent on rookie deals is extremely helpful to have a consistent playoff team
Staying positive, Hernangomez is supposed to come over in 2016, N'dor is supposed to sign with the Knicks after a year in Europe, and Labeyrie is supposed to be joining the team in 2016. The Knicks have young guys in the pipe line.
It looks like the making of plan
"We are playing a game. We are playing at not playing a game..."
