I would like us to go after Kosta Koufos more than Monroe, if we could get Koufos for $6-$8 million a year. That would allow the team to go after another decent player. However, if we got Monroe and Afflalo, that would be a decent FA haul that should get us into the playoffs next year. A playoff appearance will: (1) avoid us giving Toronto a lottery pick; and (2) make the team appear more attractive to FAs in the summer of 2016, when Durant might become available. Even a Max Monroe would give the knicks money to go after another decent player for the 5 - 8 range depending on if Monroe gives phil the little rebate he asked for and if the cap goes up.

I think his ppp on post ups is very high for a guard so that and his 3pt shooting falls in line with the triangle.

Should not even be a question. With the deals these bums are getting Monroe at $15mil is a bargain. We need size and girth inside. Monroe is perfect. Phil better fly out to wherever Monroe is right. Is and get it done

Did not seem to help the Detroit defense or record? And he was paired up with their real big man in Drummond. Hope Phil doesn't overpay. Good pock up but not a max player.
