It's all good as long as they are free agents. A team can invite a player to their summer league, even if they don't own their rights.

Some players might feel they owe the team they play for in SL the first chance to make an offer, and some might go into the SL with a promise of being invited to the team's training camp, which might have been the case with Galloway last year, but as you said, there are no league limitations on signing a person on another teams SL team.

Forgot who it is, but I think we have a player who will play in both SL leagues this year, with the Knicks in one, and Memphis the other.

Looked over Mo N'Dour's box scores from the PIT. He played for 'K & D Rounds Landscaping.' Box scores and game footage is archived here: https://www.portsmouthinvitational.com/schedule-results.html

Only played 3 games -- here are his lines:

Game 1: 22 mins., 4 pts, 2-10 FGs, 0-4 from 3, 5 rebs, 4 blocks.
Game 2: 28 mins., 4 pts, 2-7 FGs, 0-0 from 3, 1 reb, 6 blocks, 2 steals.
Game 3: only saw 12 mins of PT in this one, 4 pts, 2-3 FGs, 4 rebs.

Can't conclude much of anything from this small sample.

I actually watched game 1 in its entirety and plan on reviewing games 2 & 3 as well. He didn't start the 1st game but right after the starters were announced, the color commentator made it a point to mention him as someone to watch, pointing out his impressive numbers from college--FG%, 3-pt FG%, his shot-blocking/rebounding...Some takeaways from game 1 -- didn't shoot it well but all the shots he took were pretty much in rhythm and didn't look forced. You can tell by his college clips (even his Sophomore Monroe JUCO college clip) that he's a much stronger offensive player than what he showed here.. Looks like he's got a good idea what he's doing on the court though, active yet under control for the most part (esp. compared to some of the other players out there--a couple of good players in this game including Pat Connaughton, but by and large most of the players out there competing for both teams were subpar--it's not uncommon to play down to the competition, happens sometimes), he ran the pick & roll to absolute perfection, setting good clean picks out high then showed good quickness diving to the basket looking for the pass (too bad he wasn't playing with skilled enough guards to get him the ball here), showed some ability in the post, he boxed out real well against bigger players, was very unselfish (to a fault at times, passing up wide open looks) and he looks like a real good teammate. And he definitely shows promise as a shot-blocker...One big criticism -- he lost sight of his man quite a few times. He'll have to work on staying with his man and switching off/closing out much harder when the need arises. Otherwise, I though he looked promising and like he belonged. Very excited to see this kid play for us in Vegas.

Its a small sample I agree. BUT it seems to me that the guys who make the NBA almost ALWAYS stand out here. Now he couldve been used poorly??? Averaging 4 points and 25% shooting will need some serious improvement in SL action if he wants to get to camp.

Galkdas has some Gobart in him. Im not sure how long his wingspan is but it has to be between 7-4 and 7-6 and he looks all of a legit 7-2 himself. Id like to see the Knicks let him play 2-3 games +30 minutes. While the game will be faster for Galkdas than he is used to these kids have never seen a guy this big who can actually play. You have to go up and get your shot over serious length that is mobile. I would not be surprised if he has one game that is something like 18 points 14 rebounds 5 blocks IF he gets the PT.

Yeah I like this guy too. His numbers are great and he is a good defender as well. If he steals the shown in summer league like I think I will, I would like him to stsrt.
