Think he's been linked to the Morrison, Thabeet, and Flynn picks, too.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Thinking about it, it's not Phil's fault, it's Dolan..He hires all these transient figures who has nothing vested here..Our coaching staff and bench are filled with Laker failures..Phil is trying his best, he just sucks..There isn't a continuum or a business plan when it comes to basketball..It's just ad lib as we go from regime to regime who has a 4 year stint..It's a complete recipe for failure..No other successful organization in basketball is runned this way..

holfresh your fulla crap. Point blank. After 5 years of miserable hoops, trading every asset for league jokes like Eddy Curry you defended Isiah and stuck with him till the bitter end. When everyone on this board was like finally this guy is gone you defended him until the cows came home (and they did, Eddy Curry confirmed this).

Simple fact is Phil is not your guy, and your posts are about as objective as DK's when he's chatting about Melo.

I love after 5 years of riding Isiah's jock your good with commenting on Phil's plans. Please... stick a fork in it.

Maybe Phil's BB gods are punishing you for Isiah worship?

Darko was drafted in 03...considering Phil was coaching the Lakers to the Finals the following year, I'd sure as hell hope he wasn't advising.

it's quite telling that u cannot tell the difference between a 7'6" dork and a 7'0" athlete. u r on tilt and it's amusing

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

He was responding to a "best man in the draft" question. Not sure you can determine that in one or two years.

You just want to see constant improvement from a player.

Why not give him some time?

I'm sure some of you will jump on him if he doesn't meet your expectations in SL, which is just foolish, of course, but we know its going to happen.

When he first took over he wasn't talking about give him time to rebuild.. He was talking playoffs..When did that change?..They undermined Woodson in December after he won 54 games..

woodson again my god

Wow! Nope, the guy that built Detroit into a championship team made a bad pick.

i agree with jackson that porzingis is an eye-opening athlete. i think there is more to him than what holfresh is imagining in terms of scenarios on the floor, eg him getting pushed around, dunked on, dorky, shawn bradley 2.0. i see a guy defensively who could be like a jared jeffries. jeffries was effective in terms of range. porzingis has a 7'6" wingspan and decent lateral quickness. that's good for closing off passing lanes and help defense.

I was being a bit facetious there about Darko(our pick)...But he did advise on the Mo Cheeks hire at the request of the Piston's owner, who was then quickly fired...Phil Jackson's camp came out and said they had nothing to do with the hire...
