Remember Phil loved Kukoc. Long, lanky, good shooter.

Not sure what his handles are but he will make a ton of wide open shots in this offense.

They are building with next year Free Agency in mind. That is what this pick says.

Saying its a bad pick just because Porzingis is from another country isnt adding anything to the discussion.

Yao Ming is Chinese dumbass. Euro players don't pan out? Tell that to Ginobli, tell that to Parker. Just cause you say it doesn't make it true.

um....that is not what im saying. I love the knicks more than most just being honest. They showed a list of lottery picked euro players who succeeded. It was a short list

Your reason for dismissing this pick is where Porzingis is from, not his game, his approach to the game, or the level of competition, so yes thats exactly what you're saying. And spare me how you love the Knicks more than most, many of us here were fans before you were even born.

Gotta respect that the Knicks scouted KrisP in Europe and had him in for a workout. They clearly tossed all of the plus and minus factors around and as a team they came up with KrisP. I mean he's got talent thru the roof and I have to think they had a better point of view on these players.

Yeah Phil did what many said he should do. Pick a BPA for the teams future and not just some guy who could fit right now. That's all you can ask of him.

Your high if anyone believes this pick is doing something in few years,
Phil just lied to Carmelo and knickerbocker fans

Horrible times for fans...
Get use to this crap ....

So here's the thing. Darko was actually talented. Guy could rebound and block shots, had an agressive nasty attitude and could shoot a little. But he wasn't developed properly and was buried on the bench and he sulked and never lived up to his talent. If we take the Knicks historical approach to developing talent, we're ****ed. If this regime can actually coach him up, it could really work.

But this is the Knicks. We're probably ****ed.

Thats fine, but my problem with that is, Why the hell did he refuse to entertain sign and trades for Melo last year?

Remember all the open shots and drives to the hole that Jason Smith had. Imagine a guy with talent getting all of those.

He will be fine and probably better than fine.
