As far as Looney goes I like him but he's more of a late 1st round talent in my opinion. Especially in this draft.

Jennings had achilles tendon surgery and missed the last half of last year's season. Who knows how good he will be coming back. He may lose some of his quickness or may be hurting this yr.

Honeslty, he's a 6th man on this team because there is not enough ball for him and Melo. But, with 1 year left on his contract, if I am getting value for taking on this salary, value for Hardaway, and have the righta to Jennings in 2016, this almost seems like a steal. If Jennings does Anything, it's a steal. I think Detroit denied this transaction already, but I would do Hardaway for the 8 and Jennings contract pretty quick.

You know I gonna spin wit it

I thought the deal was we had to exchange picks with them.?

That's why I said no. But it's all rumor, so we don't really know.

If the Knicks trade for Jennings, it will mean that they don't really want to win
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Why would the Pistons be dumb enough to do that?

You do realize that trades are made beyond just talent considerations, right? If Calderon is included in the deal, we'd save $8 million and might even have the opportunity to offload Jennings in a another deal. Why wouldn't something like this be appealing?

How can you make a blanket statement and not even attempt to substantiate it?
If we get the 8th pick, get rid of Jr (who doesn't seem to thrive in a halfcourt system, nor play D.) then the one year of his salary in exchange for a potentially excellent talent in the 8th pick,is a great thing for both teams. I doubt they give up the 8th for 1 year of Jennings though. We would have to include Jr and perhaps something else...

I'm open to Jennings as he was playing like a man possessed before he went down last year. And if we get his running mate as a FA in Detroit, it would be a steal (considering their chemistry).

Yeah, no real chance in my book for 1 year of his salary. I do think we trade Jr though, as I said above, he doesn't thrive in the halfcourt nor play D. So, we probably are going to find a great player in exchange for him. (Meaning a loaded draft.)

Moving Hardaway for a system guy is a good idea imo. We probably could just buy an early 2nd, but to get in the first, I wonder if San Antonio or another team looking to remove the lock on salary that accompanies a 1st rounder, might even just sell us one for 3 mill.
