Calderon for Haywood + pick #24?

Hmm, interesting. I wish Calderon had been healthier and not played like **** this year but it's certainly worth a shot. I'd throwin literally any other player on the roster if Cleveland asked, except for our #4 of course, in order to get this done.

To be honest, at this point I'd keep him- there aren't that many FAs I like this offseason, plus I think Calderon can actually build his value up and get you something at the trade deadline (he'll almost be an expiring, might be valuable to a team thinking ahead to the playoffs, if his shooting is back on form).

Also, Cavs can't afford him- if they max out Thompson AND love and re-sign Shump, they are really messing with huge luxury tax penalties

Lawson just for #24? Denver was asking for 6 straight up and getting #24 instead would be a bad trade. Ty is a lot better than any player they can get at 24 unless Denver gets lucky.

Calderon wouldn't be a bad look if all they want is a backup for Irving. They have a PG defender in Della, they need a facilitator like Calderon is and they've done business with NY before.
