No real loss for the Knicks but I do feel Phil should have gotten a little more in the deal - perhaps a 2015 or 2016 2nd round pick.
Also agree with the post that cited Shaun Livingston. An unsung pro who I felt was one of the Nets best players back in their 2014 playoffs under JKidd.
Livingston is just a baller, period. If he ever had an outside shot and wasn't injured, he would be one of the top PGs in the game.
Smith commented on how popular he was on social media after the Hovertrac event, Livingston is happy being popular with his coaches, teammates, and GS fans.
Not so strange that players like Barbosa, Iggy, and Livingston- guys with underrated, and forgotten skills and high BB IQs, played such an important role in the series.
I like Shumpert and the effort he gives you, but his game has not matured during his years in the NBA. He is a 15-20MPG off the bench defender who needs an offense which gets him the ball with nobody within 10 ft in order for him to shoot consistently.
JR is JR, and you can't depend on him for consistency.
This was a series where the team with the High BB IQ players with 2-way games won. Hopefully this is a lesson for us come draft time.
