SAS broke Nash's nose and put that SSOL out to dry to take a series.
Cav's have to put some fear in the splash brothers, and without JR getting suspended!
No doubt warriors have the firepower to turn this series around but playong "footloose and fancy free" is harder in the finals or against a physical team.Cav's are ADAPTING and I hope Blatt gets some credit for it. Sure he has Lebron, but he has lost Varajao, Love and Kyrie and is up 2-1 in the finals.
Give the man some credit.
huge credit to Blatt.
Also, GS plays great defense too but they are young and inexperienced. Very common.
This has nothing to do with Phil. Cleveland and GS were both top of the league in threes.
No it does still have a lot to do with Phil's point. Cleveland went and got Moz and in the playoffs they can switch up to a more traditional style. Lebron is the Penetration along with Moz at the rim. It's exactly what Phil talks about. The 3's aren't the focus of the offense. They are the result of the penetration.
Lebron is the point.
GS is a great team with a very good coach that runs an excellent offense.
Cleveland has no offense. Their offense is horrendous and really hard to watch.
We can twist what phil said all day but he still came across like an idiot and I am sure he wishes he can take that back.
Phil was just speaking from decades of experience in winning titles and you think he didn't know what he was talking about? We all know GS is a great team. That's not the point of what Phil was saying. It may not have been perfectly expressed in a tweet, but you know damn well that he's been in the crucible of the finals so many times that he knows exactly what he's talking about. GS will have to actually change what they've been doing in order to win this series and IMO that proves what Phil was talking about. Perhaps other teams didn't know what to do in order to slow GS down, but I believe Phil did. The Cavs clearly did. I don't know if the Cavs can keep up this level of play with all their injuries, but we'll see.
it does not prove what Phil said, cleveland out played, out lebroned and out hustled a young GS team.
its a chess match and a game of adjustments
so here is what phil is thinking ....
