My retort has always been- you can't blame the coach or players in those final games.

You can blame Anthony for wanting to play as long as he did, and Phil for not putting his foot down and shutting him down.

One was selfish, the other weak.

You had a built in tanking excuse and you didn't take it.

The Knicks had a worse record in games Anthony played in last season. They were better once he sat.

If you deny Minny a work out, you kind of have decline Lakers as well otherwise its a diss.
NO reason for him to work out as there is no better place than 1st.
Lakers are a good place to land and believe or not, NYC with Phil in charge might be seen as attractive.
