![]() jbeachboy wrote:or did he trade chandler just to get rid of felton? Phil explained that he wants a young big like Tyson but Tyson isn't even Tyson anymore. During a 45-minute presentation to season-ticket holders at the Garden’s Theatre, Jackson also was asked what he cherished more in a big man — the ability to pass and score or be a dominant defender. IMO WCS is an even greater athlete and help defender than Tyson. He's faster than Tyson, more agile and jumps higher than Tyson. 3/4 Sprint Agility Max Vert |

![]() jbeachboy wrote:wait, why did phil trade tyson chandler then so he can draft cauley stein? Tyson has been injured and averages only 60 games a year over the past 10. Going to be 33 will a command rate of ~$13+M. Zero offensive skills outside of the dunk. Bad hands, bad attitude when in NY. WCS seems like a friskier version who can guard on the perimeter much better. And it seems *SEEMS* like maybe in a year or so that 15 footer could be legit. And he would be under a rookie contract for 5 years so that you could spend top dollar on other pieces. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

![]() I think the Knicks "show" was too strong today. For a team who prides itself in privacy when they open their mouths its disaster.
Lets think about this for 1 second. Is there ANY and I mean ANY team who came out and said this guy is not s good as this guy no way hes going to be picked here. No--only the kNicks. If they do like Stein they are dealing with a tiger right above them who is probably wiling to take the best offer over making a pick. Theyve done that in 3 straight drafts RIP Crushalot😞

![]() jbeachboy wrote:this is a guard or wing oriented league now, harder to find a mudiay or winslow There are always more guards and wings coming along every day. It's not even clear that Mudiay is going to be an elite guard. Winslow should be a good player tho he's not even a SG even tho he's SG size. IMO it's gonna be a tough call, but i'm looking at it from a team building standpoint. If I can get a super athletic 7' defensive anchor, who at least shows some flashes that he might be able to also score on more than dunks, they I have to take him. I think you should build from the inside out. 7'ers are rare and a 7'er that can move like Kenyon Martin is even more rare. People get enamored with guards and wings, which is fine, but Winslow isn't a Kobe or MJ type. We don't really even know what Winslow is at the NBA level. We hope he's like Butler or Kahwi. Even if Winslow is legit, IMO a big time Defensive Center is more important to building a great team. WCS impacts the team without the ball. Winslow also is very good without the ball, but he's not protecting your rim, which helps everyone. |

![]() I sorry for being insulting, and I know OK4 is not known for his jumpers... and I don't necessarily want OK4, BUT
some of you guy are totally ignorant about the drill he was being put through! They are making him do the hesitation movement, that is why the shot is not pure. He is supposed to be doing a quick fake to put an opponent off balance before he shoots. Dribble-stop-pump fake-shot. I'm 5'10" and used to do this all the time if I ever got close to the basket with a defender on me. Good way for me to get him off balance, and for a non-jumper like me, I had to do it a lot. They are just making it more difficult for him than a simple jump shot. This is a drill designed to put him out of his comfort zone and see how he adjusts.
Totally surprised that nobody else understood the drill and the awkwardness from the shot. Try taking a foul shot that way, and see how less accurate you are than if you go through your regular shooting motion.

![]() OK4 needs to go to Horrors school of shooting, and just take his time and not rush

And my hesitation from the free throw line is like a layup. Unfortunately thats not the issue with ok4.....granted i only watch 1:10 due to my bad signal. But his foot work is what the issue is.....the reason is because hes a post player with a set shot. But in this video hes forced to be a jumpshooter off the dribble. Thats not his game. But as a set shot...he can hit that jay. Hes just not a jumpshooter. His feet and shooting motion are not in sink. Its like teaching my 9 yr old to shoot of the dribble.....he will look the same way. Hes still a legit post man....just a pure old school version. Towns and wcs shoot like they used to be a guard then had a growth spurt. Ok4 was always a big dude.....
