IMO it's one thing to be a naturally explosive athlete who can sustain that ability over the course of a game and season verses a guy who can train and improve his max vert for a test but still may not be able to maintain that kind of athleticism over the long haul. It remains to be seen how Kaminsky maintains this new found athletic prowess.

So Kaminsky now jumps over 33 inches vertically and increased lateral agility. So now you are getting maybe the preimere play now high skill player--but you are getting him with advanced psychical skills he can now use to help him defensively. At 4 inches he should be averaging 1.5-1.8 blocks in the nBA.

All the talk about Porzingis and OK4/Russell even being possibilities at 4 has made me forget about him.

He's working out for us and having an interview meal tomorrow and Tuesday, I think, so unlike Porzingis, we can actually put him through the ringers in a workout.

I think he is a really proud kid who, like OK4, will come out of the draft with a chip on their shoulder if they don't get picked where they feel they belong.

MUCH better passer than Porzingis, and a better rebounder, and unlike Porzingis, he has played in the post on a regular basis.

You figure that he can easily fit into the triangle and if regimes change, he can be a modern stretch 4.

I would not be unhappy with getting him, and unlike most on UK, I could live with him at 4, although it would seem we might have better options at this point.

If Posingis is there at 4, by the way, and Phil doesn't want to wait for him to develop, you might be able to make a deal with Orlando, who allegedly gave him a promise that they would take him with a lottery pick last year. Denver, at 7, might also like him, especially if MDA becomes their coach.

I live in Orlando and i was listening to one of our sports radio stations the other day and they had the Magic GM on talking about the draft and he made a comment that they want to be real careful about making their team to young which they already are one of the youngest teams in the NBA and he said they need to add some veteran help to all the young players they have now. I don't know where he was going with these comments exactly cause of course he's not gonna put too much out there but they might try to trade their pick for a veteran player or something cause they're not gonna get any big name free agents to want to go there.

Interesting.

We have no vets they would be interested in, as far as I can see.

So you believe he's thinking of trading down and trying to get a veteran back?

Too many variables- drives me crazy.
