I'm perfectly ready to pick Mudiay at #4. Assuming Towns goes #1 overall to Minny, here's my order of preference for the #4 depending on picks 2 and 3...

OK4
Russell
Mudiay

I will be VERY happy with whomever we pick at 4. We'll be getting a stud that will change this franchise and give us a legit star to play alongside Melo, OR to build around assuming we trade Melo this year or next.

the jump from high school to college usually weeds out a ton of players...

Have to trust what our people see at the workouts.

Have not seen his official w/o shoes height, but with shoes he is listed at 6'5," which is pretty big for an actual PG, not a SG masquerading as one.

Russell might be more of a SG, for what it is worth, but lets face it, the Triangle does not require a traditional PG.

When I see Mudiay's head/neck/shoulders area, I see a guy who will end up as a pretty powerful PG. He can get to the basket and even has enough size to post someone up. I know it was in the CBA, but I saw some very smooth moves in the post, with the type of footwork you wish some big men had.

I think his jumper will come around-don't see it as broken, although the poor foul shooting bugs me a lot.

I'm not worried too much about the CBA issue. I'd prefer other players, but won't cry if we get Mudiay.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Been saying this long time now. You could stick someone like Delon Wright or Jerian Grant in China and they would emulate what Mudiay did.
