Thompson turned down 12mm per
That was 13 mil per.. 52 mil over 4... Can't believe he thought he was a max player at that time or even now..JVG said he would start Thompson over Love next year..
I have a feeling Love has already been fitted for his Lakers jersey.
I don't see going back to a rebuilding situation with huge expectations like LA..Kobe is done..So Love and the draft pick..Or he is itching to saddle up with Rondo?..Love and Rondo won't make the playoffs in the West..
Clev got rid of LOve and got better--thats all you need to know about his value.
They are not better..With Love they had a chance against GS..Without him, they may be swept..
Agree with this part.
But bottom line is that Love is a California guy. He wants to win, but he wants to be happy and the centerpiece of the team, too.
I think he'll go to LA and they'll build around him. They have the #2 pick in the draft and just as much cap room as the Knicks. When Kobe comes off the cap next year, they'll have another $40M in cap room when the cap goes up.
Love, Mudiay, Randle, Clarkson, maybe Hill, $40M in cap space? The Lakers will be fine.
