How did Joe Young look? Was he there?
EDIT: Looks like he played well, was happy with his overall performance and it looks like the Knicks were one of several teams that took the time to interview him http://autzenzoo.com/2015/05/15/joseph-young-making-most-of-nba-combine/ http://www.csnnw.com/blazers/oregon%E2%80%99s-joseph-young-hoping-combine-will-boost-draft-stock http://www.csnnw.com/ducks/video-oregons-joseph-young-grades-his-combine-performance https://twitter.com/joeybuckets3 https://twitter.com/JoeyBuckets3/status/594696969131405313 I want this kid. Realistic trades to make -- Hardaway Jr. and/or Early for a decent young bench player and a 2nd rounder or 2 second rounders. I think that's what we could get for either guy, esp. Hardaway who finished the season strong. A low 1st rounder would be awesome but might be pushing it. I'd dangle both of those guy to see if I could get into the top portion of the 2nd round. I'd be happy with that. I think you immediately turn around and replace Early with Eric Griffin or maybe Luke Babbitt in FA and/or Hardaway Jr. with one of the many capable young SGs we could get cheap (Kevin Murphy, Orlando Johnson, Scotty Hopson, Dominique Jones)--moves I consider clear cut upgrades anyway (not to mention calling up and incorporating Thanasis Antetokounmpo -- imagine the lockdown defensive play would could get from Griffin and Thanasis together out on the wing + some legit offense as well, how much bang for the buck that could be |
