Not much can shock me when it comes to sports and sports injuries cause I've seen and been around it all.

Anyway the point is dont dismiss an injury until you see the player healed.

I didnt get shoulder surgery. They told me rehab etc and 10+ years later its a total disaster. The knee which I did get surgery on was fine. As for my guy vs. Andrews its a push. Most of those surgeries are not very trickey, especially ACL/MCL constructions. If we were talking microfracture or bone grafts or dicey stuff then maybe... ACL is like getting fillings at the dentist.

Anyway the point is dont dismiss an injury until you see the player healed.

Love will get a good contract and likely still a max deal. These guys have top doctors, trainers and such and this injury isnt normally career threatening. The team who signs him will be able to acquire insurance that would cover the bulk of his salary in the event he does miss alot of time. but I doubt it comes to that.

I think because of this injury Love may wait until 2016 to hit the FA market. He has to actually opt out this summer... not sure he'd do that coming off an injury, unless he REALLY hates Cleveland.

if he gets the money hes taking it now. No more risks ... lets see how injured he is.

I called it a dirty move when I saw it. I could see that Olynyck not only held his arm but I saw the jerk down on Love's arm and it was actually more forceful than it looks at 1st glance. He may not have expected to dislocate his shoulder but he was definitely trying to put stress on his arm.
