I'll be very curious to see Phil's comments after he works out Mudiay, Russell and Winslow. I have no idea who he'd pick between those three. Though I suspect he might like Winslow the best. We shall see.

i hope russell that kid has star written on him. Dont get me wrong winslow and mudiay would be great but i remember phil really liking russell. Its just too bad he played on a weak team

You could start a guy like Galloway and that line up would be huge, able to score easily and dominate the glass. I actually like Jose to facilitate and as a shooter, but if he's not in the cards play Shved or Galloway there.
I would pretty excited to see that team if healthy.

Regardless we are gettin guys in FA, we are getting a blue chip player in the draft, and we have a GM/Pres who is really focused on long athletic guys who play both ends and is hell bent on establishing a style of play

We are ALL lottery tools! Looking forward to letting it play out.

I could live with that. Except I'd try to ditch Calderon or have him come off the bench for Galloway.

And I still like the idea of chasing Lance Stephenson in a cap trade with Charlotte in the off-season. Would Michael Jordan deal with Phil? Maybe.

Lance is a bulldog defender and a very good playmaker at the wing.

PG - Galloway

Now you've got + defenders at three positions, great passers at SG and PF, offense at the 2,3,4 (including all world offense at the 3 and maybe 4 spots) and good glue guys who can hold their own at 1 and 5.

I'd sign on for that team.

I continue to think Lance is the perfect bully ball teammate for Melo. I think he'd thrive in NYC the way Mase did.

And too bad Russell played his worst game with Phil in attendance. It causes less pain, if you really think this is the first time we could actually have 5 NBA superstars in the top 5 players of the projected draft. But like every year, there will be a Euro guy selected somewhere that would throw everything off. But Russell, Winslow and Mudiay could all be NBA stars. Then you just pick the best one that fits our system. Russell has all the skills Phil looks for on offense, in his tall guards. Pass and Shoot.

Winslow fits the defensive mind set with all around offensive skills. Mudiay has the NBA body to be a decent defender on PG's and SG's, with some John Wall skills to add.

Tough decision!

What I like about finishing worst is that we don't have to second guest winning meaningless games for years like we do with the Stephen Curry draft. It would've been nice to have the best chance and if we didn't win the lottery then you chalk it up to the luck of the draw and move on. 2nd worst isn't the end of the world. It's just annoying as FUCK that we were subjected to awful basketball all year only to blow the lottery towards the very end. But what are ya gonna do. It's part of being a battered Knick fan

Basically this tool is saying Towns 1, Mudiay 2, Okafor 3, Winslow 4 for the Knicks.

That truly is a dice roll. Minnesota got the top pick 4 out of 10 times. Every ping pong ball matters.

I would be open to Lance but it would have to be for money. I would rather take a shot to groom Euro guy like the next Mosgov than spend much cap space on Lance, but if its Jose for Lance sign me up.

Didn't Chad get caught retrospectively changing his mock drafts a few months ago, to make his predictions look more accurate?

Nobody knows what anybody is.....not even the players themselves.

But I said he has that playmaker potential that Phil likes to have in his triangle system. I used Kobe and Jordan as examples of playmakers Phil knows best. But there are other playmakers like John Wall. Someone who can get his own shot and create for others. And since hes an attacking guard, he will be forced to learn how to shoot consistently.

just curious if people have actually watched film of Mudiay or they are just going by what other people are saying ?

I watched his last game highlights and he looked great at times and made numerous mistakes at times. Seems to be a reach at number 2 or 3

That's not really fair. Arizona was a far superior team to Indiana. Indiana was a one man show if I e ever seen one. Arizona was too good for Russell to single handedly beat them. He was double-triple teamed all game

Mudiay is just a huge question mark for me. If Phil works him out and thinks he's going to be great, I'll trust his judgment as a talent evaluator - but I don't think there's any way any of us can base anything on what we've seen, frankly.
