You don't work hard to lose games. You work hard to win. And thats what these D league players are doing, playing hard to win. If it was legal to lose games, then we would've forfeited the rest of the season. You have to act like you are trying to win, but putting guys on the floor that play hard. Hoping you put a low talented group that couldn't compete with elite NBA players. Thats what we did.

So I don't understand why the negativity on things you can't control. The knicks are cursed, it's that simple. We can't do anything right. When we try to win, we lose. When we try to lose, we win. yea.. great post. My favorite part is the guys blaming the coach.
I know the world of pro-sports may not be the best guage for reality but have some common sense. Langston, THjr, Lance, Lou, etc etc.. these guys are working and fighting for their NBA lives. They are practicing. They are in the weight room. They are looking at film. Any suggestion that these guys should throw the game are not reality based. Not one iota.

Im honestly happy for Galloway. He's a keeper and a great game last night.

I think people forget that we have rookies, 2nd yr players and young vets we're still developing. We may see all of these players return next year.

1. Galloway R
2. Early R
3. Hardaway
4. Larkin
5. Ledo
6. Schved
7. Acy
8. Thomas
9. Aldrich

Then we can add our draft pick and Thansis as well.

If that's our team next year plus Melo and our draft pick then we're going to be ****ing terrible again next year.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

LMAO....

With all this talk about Monroe....He might take up most of the cap and force us to bring these guys back.

I just know Phil better not F this thing up.

If you have Towns & Monroe you can make a case for bringing some of those guys back. Maybe even go with a Gallo/Svhed backcourt.

But if it's just our draft pick and those guys then surely we will miss the playoffs again

Yeah but that won't realistically happen. I say the Knicks bring in a pick and 2 players.

I dont have a big problem with that... I didnt have Demar Carrol on my radar for FAs, and we probably overpay to get him but he would be a very nice version of a poor man's Jimmy Butler/KLeanard. He's making $2.5mm. He's in the MLE category IMO, but with cap space I would outbid those teams and offer him 3 years $20 $6mm/$7mm/$7mm or something like that.

If you add a healthy MElo, and impact rookie, a big rugged frontcourt guy like Monroe and an elite defender on the wing then (with some good health) the Knicks should 100% be a playoff team next year.

I'm not saying that's the team. Remember what i've been saying is that we need a revamped top 6 rotation and that's where our draft pick and Free Agents will come in.

1. Melo
2. Draft Pick
3. Free Agent
4. Free Agent
5. Schved
6. Galloway
7. Thanasis

This is a rough example of how things might go this summer. Perhaps it will be 3 free agents, but you get the idea.

You must mean 2 bigger name players when you say 2 right?? Because we'll probably end up adding like 5 or 6 new faces or maybe even more after we sign some veterans and there will be a couple other signings besides a couple of bigger names.

Today's Berman article says Phil is planning on bringing in 3 free agents. If you add the draft pick, and Thanasis that is 5 new guys. I think Early, Hardaway and Galloway are under contract for next year. My guess is one of them gets moved (Tim probably). Melo and Jose make 10 or 11 if nobody under contract is moved. That leaves 4-5 spots. I think Thomas and Lou are back. Hopefully Schved is brought back. I think Phil will choose Ledo/Acy over Larkin.

It's hard to predict who will stay and who will go. My guess is perhaps something like this, but we have to remember Summer League and Training Camp could see new players take spots from a couple of the bench guys.

1. Melo
2. Draft Pick
3. Free Agent
4. Free Agent
5. Schved
6. Galloway
7. Thanasis

8. Early
9. Hardaway
10. Larkin or Ledo
11. Thomas
12. Amundson
13. Acy
14. Smith
15. Aldrich
