Towns was getting double and tripled team all game and still succeeded. Both Cal and the guards were hesitant to force the ball inside to Towns down the stretch. Hindsight they would've had a better chance if they had. Instead of watching Harrison run the clock and launch 30 footers
Are you basing an entire season on one game? I get that folks dont see Stein as a top pick, I dont either. but the young man is going lotto, and he should. Hell, i saw Durant get checked by Tony Allen, and Chris Paul. Lebron couldnt post up JJ Barea a couple years ago. So what? Thats not what teams base their talent evaluation on, because that doesnt happen every night. Towns barely played or displayed his full arsenal, I like the kid though. What I like more is a more complete squad. If that were WCS + a solid player vias top pick trade....Phil needs to consider and likely do that.
I'm not on this keep a top pick just because we havent had one, just dont trade it for a busted up McDyess type.
