I went Herzonja in 2k15 after simming a season and getting the 4th overall...so yea I'd go with Herzonja. I then traded THjr & 2017 1st (This was my isiah thomas overconfident that the 2017 1st will be late 20's move) for 18th overall and nabbed Dakari Johnson. Just sayin...

Herzonja plays SF like Melo right?

Can you move him to SG LIKE Winslow? These guys might still be growing

I believe he can play SG. I've seen him listed as an SG in mocks.

A Svhed/Herzonja backcourt would be one for the books

hezonja or porzingis would be so so so so bad....

it looks it will probably winslow... and out of all the names that have popped at #4... it's not a bad deal... the guy has been on a TEAR and there's some credence that he was either hidden in the duke offense or he was suffering from a minor ankle injury... if that's the case he might be better than russell...

If Russell is off the boards, gotta go with Winslow. Dude can impact the game in so many ways...I can see this kid being one of the top rebounding and shot blocking guards in the league. Seems like he'll be clutch as well, whether its a big basket, key defensive stop or steal, or a big rebound.

Fish: why are you not bringing up Hezonja lack of minutes like you did with Towns? Dude is avg a little over 15min for this year and less than that last year.

I get the athleticism and shooting but why isn't he rebounding or passing?

the only thing they've demonstrated that they can do is score... which is nice but in order to be considered a good starter... and if you're picking in the top 4 you should be hoping to get at least a good starter... they should be able to do multiple things well.. and they don't do that and it's likely that they never will...

I think I would trade back hopefully with Charlotte or maybe Denver.

Denver: swap picks and trade Jose for Gallinari. They could get Mudiay and ship Lawson out to get more assets. Lawson to Sacramento seems like it would work. The kings build through FA/Trades and not the draft anyway. Could make it a 3team blockbuster.

Charlotte: Phil & MJ. swap picks and trade thjr/Calderon for Stephenson/Vonleh/2nd.

Yea I agree with his and that's why I have him 6 & not 3 like Briggs. I think his potential will have him go ahead of stein, grant & kaminsky though. Personally I hope the Knicks are in the top 5 so that they won't have to worry about it. Don't want another Gallo situation where more than a handful of better players get picked after him

If The Knicks pick 3 or 4 and Mudiay is on the board. But if Mudiay is gone then Winslow.

Probably Hezonga, but really pick 4 would require a **** ton more thought before picking. Top three are simple...

1. Towns
2. OK4
3. Russell

And that order won't change.

Pick 4 is a lot tougher, and may depend on some advance insight into who we can pick up via FA. Let's hope Silver is smart enough to "give" us the top pick. It's time for the 90s all over again. Will help NY and will help the NBA.

Possibly this ^^, if it's to Philly or Boston. Mudiay and Winslow are up there, too. Tough pick. Let's not go there.

Earlier in the season...

Mudiay
Okafor
Towns
Russel

But I truly believe Towns and his sky hook will be deadly. The way he moves for his size is pretty special.

So...

Towns
Russell/Mudiay equall
Okafor... Just not a fan... Gonna be good but not #1 draft pick good

Hezonga--if he was in the US--we might be talking about other choices for the number 1 slot. You're talking about a G who is 6-8 who can handle has elite + athleticism and a jumpshot that looks very similar to Klay Thompson. Hey good problem to have. Im also not counting out Russell(who left to a bad game but his overall was INCREDIBLE)

I think all 3 of these guys Hezonja Russell and Winslow are all just a hair ahead of Mudiay. Deangelo Russell has a great chance to be a James Harden part 2 and I don't want to forget that because he left a bad taste in my mouth. Hes a great great player for a fershmen and all of the accolades some of the other guys got "as freshmen" Russell when we look at it still might be the most impressive. In fact if a team took Russel #1 like the Sixers it would NOT surprise me. This is very hard--its very close.

If we can find a scenario where we get two high end picks or assets for one--I think I might do that sans Towns.

There is no way you pass on a talent like Mudiay. The speed the handle the vision and the ability to make decisions to make others better. Let's take a closer look at the prospects and the system that is run. Winslow is an athlete but does he make others better. Will he be able to average 6+ assists? Is his handle lock tight that he can run the point.

Hezonja looks like a very good player, let's be honest though how many Euros have panned out and really played the SG position at a real high level in the history of the NBA? Maybe 4 or 5 at best. Two of the best have been Ginobili and Drazen and to some degree Sarunas Marcilonas. Now I'm not hating on Hezonja but would you take him that high up? I wouldn't. Deangelo Russell is intriguing but if you really follow College basketball and I know you do you will see that he has good vision, as does Mudiay, but he lacks the speed and explosiveness that Mudiay brings to the table. Russell is no doubt the better shooter but if you watched all year he isn't the finisher Mudiay is. Mudiay can get into the lane at will against anyone, you can't say that about Russell.

System who will fit the system better? One thing about the triangle is that it always thrived with a SG that had Point guard handle, and vision an athletic freak who had the ability to get in the lane and finish strong.

Don't pass Mudiay, don't hold going to China against him. The kid is truely a superior talent. Probably the best talent in the draft.

We need to be ready for this since its such a high possibility.

I go with Stein.

I second this.

I don't want to seem like a Towns hater. I'm really not...the kid has potential but whenever I watch a Kentucky game, Stein seems to be the one that makes the bigger impact.

I still have OK4 has #1 and i've only seen Russell play once (and I was very impressed) but I'll be lying if I didn't say Stein doesn't intrigue me.

Reminds me a lot of J.Noah...with a better jumper. Now how would the Knicks look with a J.Noah in their lineup?

You think Phil takes Stein for the triangle? He's a zero offensively like Tyson
