Tyson wants to win. He knows what it is like to win AS A TEAM. It's not that his feelings were hurt. Although losing hurts a guy like Tyson more than most and that is what I respect most about him.

Isn't it funny that the Knicks keep having to get rid of players who do really well here because Melo hurt their feelings and the pro-Melo camp calls them soft? Fun pattern.

At this point Calderon's bad play and injuries are a good thing. I mean the problem with the Knicks has always been they havent stunk enough. Rather than squeeze out 28-32 wins we finally did it right and are in the mix for a franchise player in the draft, and there are a legit 5-6 guys who qualify, and we will have our choice. Then there is FA market where we should have a better selection than Jason Smith.

If the Knicks don't trade their top three pick for Kevin Love, I'll have some hope. That's the cap room and the draft pick all in one shot for a guy who doesn't fit next to Melo. Yes, there is a smart way to proceed. Heck, there was a smart way to proceed after the 54 win season... and they traded a number one pick for Bargnani and fired the team's architect instead. They could've later traded Felton and Shumpert for Lowry... but decided to hold onto Shump so they could give him away for nothing instead. Not sure what exactly inspires confidence about this team's management. I will hope for the best and that a miracle lands in our laps. But I considered Tyson a miracle landing in our laps, too.

The one where Tyson broke his leg and the team was terrible until Andrea broke his wrist and Tyson, JR and Shump all got healthy? It's been discussed.

Looks like a team we'd have in NY, except no champisonship or pedigree of Dirk.

I agree Rondo has hurt that team's chemistry. I thought they had a chance to make a playoffs run before that.

Though I have a hunch Rondo comes here this summer. Melo loves him.

I don't know what went on with Melo, but I have a hunch the culture of enabling Melo and JR didn't help things.

Que sera. What's done is done, but it's why I wouldn't have minded seeing Melo go to Chicago.

Fair enough, Mr. Madison Square Gardener. While regret is mostly useless, if you screw up, it is good to look back honestly so you don't keep doing the same dumb crap. Phil has been good enough about that so far.
