I suppose that the age of Self-Esteem has made it difficult to be critical without being seen as a hater, and younger people today don't seem to take criticism too well. If you sat down and talked to him about his game, I'm sure he would go over a number of things he would want to improve.

The guy is a great player with a few flaws... no other way to put it, and when you are comparing MVP quality players, folks tend to bring up the negatives at times.

And thats why I've said this a long time ago.....The PG position is becoming extinct. In about 10 years or so, that position will no longer exist. The league will only have two positions....GUARDS AND FOWARDS.

Once you classify Westbrook as a PG, he will have haters. If he was classified as a SG, he wouldn't have as many haters.

That dude is a two-way player; he can afford to shoot the ball as much as he does. Specifically, when others are not scoring the ball as they should.

maybe Westbrook is more fit to be a 2 guard however, his shooting has never been good enough especially from 3 and he seems to need an incredibly high Usage and would probably sulk off the ball.

He is playing now at a freaky level right now so if he keeps this up, who cares what his position is.

Harden is also a Hybrid however, a far more efficient one. Do you think that OKC would trade Westbrook for Harden straight up right now? Of course they would in a heartbeat.

I would not trade Westbrook for Harden. Westbrook is by far the more complete player out of the two.

well he's having an MVP year, hard to find much to knock Harden on. There isnt much Harden cant do on the court rigt now. His next level needs to happen in the playoffs where he has been awful the last couple years.

agreed. he still has a lot to prove in the playoffs. If he will pull another no show and chuck away then that will count against him as it should.

Also, people seem to ignore that he played really well for 3 seasons in the playoffs in OKC. Much harder when you are the number one guy.

with a (consistent) TS of > 60 every year, upgraded defense ... etc ... WS48 is freaking .273

If one chooses to look away from everything and just say "I don't like the guy" or "Felton was just as good given the playing time" then so be it. People just like to say things and listen to themselves type.

I would be more then glad to have either of the two in a Knicks uniform. They are both currently better then anyone on our roster (including Carmelo).
