if saving money was their goal, nobody here can say that they didn't reached it.

my point of view is that we all got what we wanted.

btw in that situation, I would'nt like to be a suns fan.
Right; that's why I disagree with you're claim that "we all got what we wanted" when the Suns fans got the last thing they wanted

KT and Frank is too much for James and Flip. I would love the Stack for Kurt trade though
I like James' expiring contract and I'd like to add Flip (although I'd rather add Crawford)

agree w/Bonn here...KT's contract on the books for the next 4 years in unappealing to me when you have Sweetney ready to take on a more significant role on this team...if you could get an expiring contract, i'd do it...plus Flip would be worth giving up Frank in a trade imo...the guy was averaging 27 ppg early on last season...how could anyone say that's not a fair deal for the Knicks?

two months from here, the suns may have signed kobe.

how would the trade look like then ?

Comparing 2 parts of a deal is a bad way of dealing with trades.

trades are not made so that one can fleece the other.

Trades are made so that everybody wins something from a change of cards.

we "won" talent wise, but we "lost" on the financial aspect. The sape finanacial aspect that prevent us to run after kobe, sheed...

for once, look at what we got, and let the others deal with the other side of the coin.
You care to place a bet on whether the Suns get Kobe? Or how about which team--the Knicks or the Suns--finishes with a better record next year?

Ok, I'll take the Suns, how much do you want to bet?
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Boy if we could go back and see the threads on the marbury trade by laughing at the Phoenix Subs, WE WOULD REALLY SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE LOOK LIKE IDIOTS TODAY.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Nobody on the planet thought the Suns team was going to be 26-4

Nobody on the planet thought Kidd was gonna take that Nets team to the finals

And you can come up with a hundred other reasons why the teams Marbury was on exploded after he left, but those guys bring something special that Marbury didn't have at that point.

And Marbury should be hitting Ariza for an alley-oop set-play out of a time out every single game, as to why it doesn't happen, well I don't know if that's Stephon's fault or Lennys.
