YET. and no, jr and shump didn't qualify as good players either.

Don't say it nothing, it's something..Chandler was traded mostly because he didn't fit the system..We got back Calderon..Our coach isn't good but the only guy we could get to run the system...So it's something..

chandler was traded because he was malcontent last year

I am sure if his game suited the triangle he would still be here...But not really the point..The system dictated personnel and coach..We won 10 games this far..Its something..

would you rather we hire a guy who doesn't fit the offensive idealogy? why doesn't anyone complain when other teams hire people who fit their idealogy? who would you rather have hired as coach? trade this team with the warriors and im sure we're not winning 10 games...

You were saying the triangle has noting to do with anything..It does whether U agree with the system or not..

it has nothing to do with why the team is failing. obviously pjax is going to hire a coach that he thinks fits his offensive idealogy. i guess i should clarify that.

Honestly, the only thing Im still mad about is not getting a 1st round pick for them. I get the cap clearing move, but Jackson has done two underwelming trades since he came aboard: the Tyson trade and this one.

I think that's everyone's problem with Phil. We have literally got nothing of value in any trade. Say what you want about those three guys, they did have some talent and can help team.

Calderon is not a good player anymore, he averaged 11 and 4.7 assists last season, why you would trade for a guy that has two years and 14MM on his deal. You never go big for small. He wanted to improve culture, but Dalembart is a notorious low effort players so the trade still doesn't make sense. Players in contract years always play harder and are always valuable at the deadline.

Just typical Knicks trades year after year. Never get anything of value always give up assets and get nothing in return.

That last part is still shocking to me. Remember when it was rumored we were getting Kerr but Fisher, still playing, was said to probably be the better candidate? I thought we finally caught a break when Kerr moved on to the Warriors and we later got Fisher. The jury may still be out, but this year has definitely been the worst case scenario everywhere.

Just saw a clip of the Cavs/Knicks game, an alley oop from Shump to JR. Never saw anything like that from those two their entire time in NY. Good riddance. Only so much you can blame on a coach or mgmt.

I don't blame Phil for getting very little value for players whose stock were maybe at career lows. These aren't rookies where you can get something for potential. They did very little, if anything to make GMs want to up their price, but Jackson is supposed to have gotten all these goodies for them.

We spent enough time trying to win with those players. It's time to move on and i'm not conflicted by it anymore. At some point we have to accept that they weren't going to be the STARTING level players we need. They joined a team with Lebron, Kyrie and Love. We can't worry about the fact that they fit in there with better players carrying the load. We simply need to go and get our own starting level players and build a team around them.

you kinda say the same thing about players you originally guarantee will be big contributors then they fail and you say to move on.
