Russell is going to be one hell of an NBA talent. At 6'5'', it's highly likely his NBA future will be at shooting guard. His skill set is also much more advanced at the 2 than it is at the 1. This kid has true 2 guard fluidity. He's easily a 21 ppg player by his third season.

Some said the same thing about Westbrook or Curry.

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Although it has worked out just fine for them, at 6'3'' both Westbrook and Curry are shooting guards stuck in point guard bodies.

What I'm saying is that D-Lo is a true shooting guard, partly because his size dictates that. He's also got a killer wingspan to assist that. If he can establish himself defensively early in his career, I don't think a Wade comparison is far off.

He is a far better shooter then Wade. He doesn't have the athleticism to be like Wade. He is skilled enough to be his own player

Lol Briggs.

He is he's the best player. Since he was called out a month ago his game has stepped up and tonight you can see the full package. Hes a pf not a c but he just seems 3-4 inches longer and more fluid than okafor. Okafor is a 20- 10 player but towns is a game changer on the d

Coach Cal only played Towns 16 mins his last game due to a lack of effort.

Lack of effort? They destroyed S. Carolina by 30 LOL!!

Anyway this is what I meant when I said towns is the full package before the season began. Fills up the stat sheet like he did in H.S.

Coach Jon has mide a great culture for Kentucky, you play hard 100% of time 100% of the way and if you play soft just for one moment he will take you out and just look at what that has done to the team especially defensively. I'd take the current Kentucky team over this crappy Knicks team with Melo.

Agree with both of you. I like our prospects in this draft if we're top 3 (which we will be !!!). If our kids playt tough this year, make games close, fight and develop...I will consider that a more than worthy milestone...better, in fact, than a middling playoff whiff.

It's getting real...finally.

He plays big, and you can just sense that through his defensive presence. He also has the rare ability for a college player to know when to pass, and know when to attack. Basically, he plays with a pretty good composure.

Give me karl towns at 1 wood at 23 and christmas at 33 and were set upfront for 12 years

Too bad Philly has a better chance to do this combo then the Knicks:)))

I think philly with embiid and noel need some other positions. Wood and hristmas are lower ranked prospects that we have a chance of adding

Philly wants Mudaiy. Just got rid of MCW.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Makes sense. Mudiay will take at least three years to develop, helping their continuous tanking operations.
