You're right- we'd be much better off without a high pick than with one! No good can ever come of a high draft pick, I'd much rather risk everything on free agency!

Your $124 mil hero thinks you're wrong

I didn't even want to sign Melo this offseason.

The point is, at the very least it's ambiguous as to whether losing will help us more than winning. Calling close losses "perfect" is far-fetched.

well ... duncan and clyde are coming from this draft so not sure why that would not make you excited.

Okafor is widely regarded as a potential future Tim Duncan-type.

“Yes, I think every team should be hoping they get him,” Jay Bilas told SNY.tv and The Knicks Blog.

“The lottery makes it theoretically possible for any team to grab the No. 1 spot but he’s a phenomenal talent and he’s got a big body. He’s athletic, he’s super skilled. He can pass, there’s really nothing he can’t do out there. He’s not a big time rebounder. You say that he’s not rebounding as well as he can, he’s averaging 10 a game. The one thing he’s not is, he’s not a dominant shot-blocker, but boy offensively is he skilled.”

And for the record, I believe Briggs is the author of that article
