He says in Cleveland it's so boring all you can do is play
Video Games and go to the gym to work on your game, there's nothing to do in Cleveland
I guess this is the gift and curse of the lifestyle in NYC
There are always off the court distractions from Digital to Sinful
J.R. partied on our watch and is a professional on Cavs watch[for now]
Cleveland probably could trade him right now and get back a better asset than a 2019 2nd
That's on him. the dude is a grown ass man for crying out loud and it is a damn shame to hear that it took a change of scenary to a place with less distractions to force him to be a better basketball player.
Easier said then done, I live in Maryland suburbs for the last 7 years, and the things I have accomplish here, I was never discipline enough to accomplish living in the east village. I went out damn near every night with my room mate, and if you've been in the east village, there's a lounge/bar every 50 feet. I saved money one month, and spent it the next.
I have been to at least 30 states in my life, had a job that kept me on the road (only time i saved money) and aside from CA, Nevada, and N O, everywhere else sucked, and there was never sht to do but stay in the room.
I clearly understand what JR is talking about, I would see ball players at all the trendy spots, starks, greg anthony, mason, pipen, dale davis, spree, jeter, you name them, there were there.
My pops always tells me, these players that come to NY, party and hang out too much, can't stay focus for more than a game or two, thats why developing young players in NY never works
