What you're getting with Oakfor? Hes going to be able to dominate the low block from the 4--command double teams--grab 10 rebounds a game score 20-30 points every night in the 60% region. Hes a very decent man on man and team defender. Not a great shotblocker but should avg 1.5. Should avg 4-5 assists per game.

Who is the great shot-blocker or defender on GS or Atlanta? How about they have a bunch of great players who play great team basketball. Thats what I think Okafor is a great player who plays team basketball. I don't want to compare Towns to Okafor--Towns could potentially do more--that is possible but hes also showed that he still has a long way to go. Okafor is proven already. Im still not sure whether Towns is better than Portis. The guy after Okafor is likely Russell but it will be fluid all year. Would love to see Towns put together 7-8 straight 12-7-3 games in 24 minutes(and maybe one game Cal lets him go 30 minutes) --but he hasnt come close to that yet

The system Towns plays in does not allow him to show his entire offensive repertoire. They are so deep, they rotate 4 to 5 players every two or three minutes. Okafor on the other hand plays a long stretch of basketball. Towns is certainly the better player out of the two. It took me a while to see that, but BRIGGS he is right.

To put up 20-30pts, 10reb, 60% every night, this might not happen until his 3rd or 4th season

I love his game offensively though, and his passing is really good

I'm still taking him #1 and not looking back

I'm just focused on his defensive game it will matter at some point

okafor reminds me more of like a demarcus cousins without an outside game and it took him about 4-5 years to be a passable nba defender...

Kelly Oubre has been picking it up--he's a 6-7 SG who is one of the upper tier athletic players in the draft for his size with the handle and shot. Before the season I had him as my pre season number 1 pick of the entire draft but he really slumped to start the season. I actually wrote about Kelly Oubre two years ago when Uconn had him as pick 1 in the recruiting process over anyone in this years freshmen class in 2012. That was Jim Calhoun who had him picked there by the way of Madison CT He's actually bigger than Mudiay with a much better shot.

OK4 is the safest pick. At worst, he'll be a zach randolph.... Towns on the other hand has a higher ceiling, but is a high risk. He could be another Anthony Davis or at worst Anthony Randolph. Do you go with the high ceiling (Towns / Mudiay) or low risk (OK4)?
