this is what most fans have wanted to do ever since ewing retired... which is to wipe the slate clean... it's not a total stripdown since we have melo... but we will have a good pick in a very solid draft and some cap space in a decent free agent class...

losing is painful esp when we are this bad... but i much much MUCH rather have this than the layden/thomas and even last year...

I survived Louie Orr and the dunk that wasn't, and I survived watching Pat Cummings and Bob "The Quiet SuperMan" Thornton.
I will survive this. There is hope.

Lowered expectations are the key, while not so silently hoping we win more than 23 games. I keep hoping Phil is going to work some kind of Zenyness and turn Stat and Bargs into picks. That would be as happy a moment as when Walsh dumped Jerome James.

We've been bad for 15 years and you're crying now? I hate to break it to you were not tanking were just bad

Have to ask.....do you truly believe this? If the Knicks were not tanking then why would they not be making moves with their cap space and trade exceptions and fI ture picks to bring in fading players on bad contracts to try and stay competitive as they did in the past?

There will be espionage and intrigue at the NBA Draft.

Summer League in Las Vegas (with Phil on the sidelines) will be mandatory for the entire roster. We get a head start on the season in July.

Off season workouts will be held at an undisclosed location.

I see us getting the 4th, thats when i will laugh my ass off at all the ppl who were clapping after yet another loss.

If by some miracle Fisher stays on, for all those who think fishers roster is the reason, I can wait til he starts out next season 7-20, thats when everyone will be calling for his head, not just the alert, smart ppl that have already recognize he's god awful.

If phil does decide to go with OK4, it will be a disaster, Duke players are Notoriously soft, very bad defenders, hardly ever become stars, and usually don't last

NBA executives have started to chirp that Fisher is the problem. Especially that his teams plays absolutely zero defense and refuse to guard the 3 at all. Teams are shooting 41% against us from 3. That preposterous .

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Looking forward to the start of 10 day contracts, the trade deadline and the end of the season in China isn't the same as looking forward to games.

This should deserve a thread of it's own, if there isn't one already. I know highlights are highlights, but why do we always seem so out of position? Most games look like the opposing team is an old Dave Hopla video...

This my friends is a necessary evil, which is being done quite a few years late, but it needed to be done. Never should have resigned JR Smith, I stopped watching since that deal. However, I also have my doubts on Fisher's coaching ability, there is no way this team should be this bad. On that note, It is Emmanuel Mudiay or bust for me
