If phil manages to trade calderon and THJ, or anybody for the matter, your going to see the same spike in these players stats. Jr looks way more comfy in their system, he's not thinking, he's reacting, he's just playing.

so when you guys are talking about we have zero talent, i'm baffled as hell, because i've seen every player on this roster play 10x better on other teams and in college.

Blaming the system for players that aren't being receptive to it isn't what this game is about. The players that adjust to system seem to win more than lose. Great players took to the system and were better for it. While I do agree that the system requires great players to win what system doesn't. Fisher avoid meaningless victories that is what see, they are giving the Knicks the best chances at a high draft pick.

You bringing a high draft pick, and have a coaching staff that can't develop players, or teach them effectively. I can understand if it was just a few players on the roster that aren't getting it, but when 15 out of 15 are completely clueless, when does the leadership come into play.

Most of us have realize the game has change, 75% of the game is perimeter orientated, and we chose to have a defensive system that basically ignores the perimeter.

Ha, I was going to start a thread like this as a spoof, but I guess these boards are like a caricature of themselves these days!

do you really believe that other gms are seeing these players as losing value? i'd think the scouts and gms are using the very context you are citing as a reason for wanting the players who are either baffled or whose skills are being squandered in a system that does not make full use of those skills, like calderon for example.

why should fisher have to adjust? this season is a lost cause. what he should be doing is playing players who he and jackson are interested in keeping for the future and on the cheap. depth is a precious commodity, as is high basketball iq, in a bloated league of 10 too many teams and with as much dilution of talent that we have to suffer with in this day and age.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
