Even if LeBron had a track record for any of that, why should we give a ****? People's indiscretions are people's indiscretions. Kennedy was ordering White House aids to blow his friends in the White House pool and MLK was making his best effort to **** every attractive woman on the Atlantic coast. Should that change our opinion of the positive role they played in history? Insofar as LeBron, I only care about what he does for 48 minutes a game, 82 games a season. |

![]() DJ is throwing out his lebron Bed sheets and pajamas because his first 35 games in Cleveleand is not going great with a rookie coach, Kyrie not a real PG and Love not getting his.
Wilt was awful to play with from what I read, Kareem in his early days was conflicted with his social role on and off the court (different times!) and "forced his way" his way out of Milwaukee. Oscar was a ball hog, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe all are documented dicks. Our very own Ewing as often lambasted for many reasons. DJ, you were wrong? Dude for the last 10 years has been this generations best with 5 trips to the finals on teams not as complete as iconic Jordan and Kobe were on. I see Waiters shooting, Kyrie with no conscience and Love looks lost. 35 games? Some of you are a bit quick to judge. Didn't lebron even say it be a long shot to win it this year???? |

Thus Lebron is subject to criticism as he's been forced

Maybe. It might also cause them to take more chances, especially they suffer from some sort of personaloty disorder. We still see atheletes and celebrities make gaffes all the time. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

A married guy who has accepted his status as a role model, and likes to portray himself as a good person sure, as heck has his character dented if he is "boning some chicks on the side." Says nothing about his basketball abilities, but much about his "character." EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Are you really beating off 10s as you roll into work in your '95 Ford Taurus? Lets be real. I'm not endorsing him cheating but as a dude, especially as one in his prime, I can understand it. The reality is that we're programmed to **** multiple women and getting married doesn't change that. More importantly, it isn't a reflection of character (or a lack thereof). Great men have cheated and you are going to sit there and deny they were men of character? LeBron's no great man but if better couldn't live up to that standard, what do you expect from a guy whose value to society is putting a ball through an iron ring? |

![]() It is not easy to be the best... in anything.
It takes its tall. To be the best and keep integrity and humanity is the ability of the few. It is not about having flaws, everybody have them. It is about how one deals with them. Lebron is incomplete... only time will tell which legacy he will leave. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet

On your second point, there is no connection between his so called character and his skills, Lebron is Lebron if he is still producing every game then he is and alwas will be the exceptional athlete that he is.
