how the heck are we getting CA for 2 1st rounders? We probably would need to take back a bad contract just to get rid of him.

We actually could trade CA to Houston, it is realistic, they have the salaries to match CA's salary
And they have asset's to make it work

Most importantly, it is to a team where CA will join a contender because of his no trade clause and hey would make 30m because there is no STATE tax in Texas

It would be best if we get a 3rd team involved, like a team like Philly where they could take some contracts back but will be compensated for with players/draft picks

Also the players that Houston sends back actually hold value as well, players like

DMO
Terrence Jones
Koustas PAP *contract is NON GUARANTEED*

Ronnie Brewer

I don't see Houston doing that at all.

Why would they want to pay this guy 115 million for 4 years AND GIVE UP VALUABLE PICKS AND ASSETS?

Do they think that he puts them over the top? Maybe he could, but maybe he royally fuks them up.

I say Morey is running for the hills.

After tonight's game, the 6-4 Harvey has upped his TS% AND his EFG to over .7. He's a good defender ballhandler passer has average athletic ability good agility and body control reasonable quickness and the fastest most reliable release in CBB. He's a lefty who really relies on his left and will need to learn to use the right a tad more. He's crafty with a high IQ tall for the PG position able to see over his defender and extends the defense out to 30 feet. If you leave him he will shoot and he's the most accurate 3 pt shooter in volume by a reasonable amount. His 3 pt ability looks like it can be on par with the Steve Nash's Korver's Green's. He's a weapon and should transition nicely to full time PG the way he plays the game. He's a unique player yet not even on 1 draft board's top 300 list. Obviously that means not much. Stephy Curry was projected as a 2nd round smallish SG halfway through his last season and ended up as the 5th pick in the draft.

Holy crap! I just checked his numbers. They are ridiculous!!

How bad is his competition?

PS:

I the highlight vid, I loved his ball fakes and some of his drives but he was mostly not beating his man and shooting over him on those drives. That will be difficult in the NBA.

Can you point me to an actual full game that he has played this year?

I first saw him last year against Uconn get 20-4 and Uconn was all over him--and you must remember how good Uconn was at playing D.

Top teams he has played against this year

Washington SMU California Indiana(all good teams all on the road as well) avg in those 4. AVg 25.1 4 rebounds 3 assists FG% 47% efg 63%

He played pure 1 his first year part time there as a freshmen and now has transitioned to a combo guard with PG skills because he is 1 of 2 players on that team that can score. He plays with good speed under control but has an incredible release and range that translate to the NBA. He's a weapon. He's also a reasonable defender good passer plays with his head up controls the dribble very well. He reminds me a great deal of Steph Curry. Id love to get another pick and have him and Dragic. It would just be impossible to start guarding the team with Okafor Dragic Anthony Harvey and then you have a shot blocker/finisher. Thats why I think we can improve quickly with the right amount of luck AND aggression.

He has a brother who sucks. Maybe we can lure Andrew with a Chris Smith type deal when he becomes FA.
