Don't try to get too creative. Thinking a player who has never played in the triangle somehow was brought here because he has great triangle knowledge to teach others clearly shows your expectations were a little off.

I am really surprised how bad calderon is. His efficiency numbers are great yet he can't get off his own shot.

He would best be used as an off the ball spot up shooter on a team with penetrators.

But I thought that TS% and other advanced stats were impervious to a player's quality of teammates? What happened here exactly?

He would be able to cover the sins of Calderon

No, the poster said Calderon has only played on loser teams and never good teams- I was saying he played on a good team last year. But lets go back to pretending we're all stupid! Calderon MADE all of his teams lose! Remind me which teams he played on that he should have elevated to a higher level? I don't even like Calderon, but I think thats just daft. My misgivings regarding him were hollow stats and I still believe that- I don't think he really impacts the game either way.
