We have to trade with Denver. Forget the past, Is affalo a free agent?
Gallo and Wilson? They are "Knicks" but are they triangle worthy? Do they run a pure Triangle? Denver is not far from 8th spot in playoffs and gallo has missed nearly two seasons.
Do they want to give him more time to get his game back? While Bargnani has been a huge disappointment at the right price he can be a relamation project. Would Denver want him? In fact, for 6mm a year do we if he shows some promise? A huge part of our failure this year is not having a "Tony Kukoc" to kick it out to. Gallo and Bargs can do this. Not stars, but as role players.
Granted if Barg's can never get it together thats a different story. Sure its easy to rid ourselves of players as fans and replace them but player movement is not so easy. What does Denver want? What direction are they going in?

If they want to get out of Gallo's contract 1 year early then you can probably dangle Bargs contract. Assuming of course that they have given up on Gallo.

Gallo's worth much more than that.

he is? I would not take him back without a pick. Why would we take back a ludicrous contract beyond this year for a guy who is a gimp?

Because he's none of the things you mentioned. And there are only a few guys in the league with his skillset; a skillset that compliments our franchise player well. That for $11 million is reasonable.

really can he legis-shoot from the bench in a suit?

Give him time. He's getting his strength back but there is no reason to think that these issues will be lingering.

sometimes I think this (your posts) are all a joke. Funny ones though.

Has there been any limitations to his athleticism? Has there been any setbacks for him this season? No! So why should we suspect that this isolated injury will be an issue in the future?

He is playing horribly. And his knee is hurt again and he is day to day. I think there is a very real concern anytime someone comes off the type of injury that Gallo suffered. It can end and/or seriously hinder a players career.

The guy hasn't played 2 seasons of basketball. These things are to be expected as his body re-acclimates itself to the rigors of the game. The beauty about stockpiling talent like him, Chandler and Arthur is that if when one guy is playing hurt or is injuried, the other guys can step up without their being a loss in the quality of play. Next to Melo, they can all adequately play the 3/4 spots, so no harm, no foul.

so you want to take on a guy who is making 11 million a year who has missed half his career to do various serious injuries?

I don't get it

He's only under contract for one more season. If he checks out, we can extend him accordingly once his contract expires (i.e. less than $11 million per). If he doesn't, we can let him walk. At this point, we don't have any better options so why not roll the dice.
